Sweet Caroline!

Is that Eat Shit Pitt climbing in the ranks? Maybe they can win the playoffs.

Ueless stat of the day. Weeks in top 25.

Winsipedia - College football WEEKS IN POLL rankings

SEC, but they all the schools top down.
'
Alabama 735
LSU 568
Tennessee 567
Florida 559
Georgia 542
Auburn 533
Arkansas 411
Texas A&M 394
Ole Miss 274
Missouri 253
South Carolina 186
Mississippi State 176
Kentucky 78
Vanderbilt 30
Little surprised to see Arkansas that high, I would have guessed them to be more around the Ole Miss/Missouri level. So there's basically 6 tiers of SEC teams, historically

Alabama 735 - top tier all alone

LSU 568
Tennessee 567
Florida 559
Georgia 542
Auburn 533
These next 5 schools are all pretty close to each other, which makes sense as they all have modern-era national titles (at least since the 80s)

Arkansas 411
Texas A&M 394
Big dropoff to the next 2, they have national titles, but not since anyone here was born. Talking 50+ years ago

Ole Miss 274
Missouri 253
Then another big dropoff to those 2. No national titles here, but will jump up and make a push into the top 10 every few years when the roster aligns just right.

South Carolina 186
Mississippi State 176
Another big separation, bad more than good throughout their history, but some good recent success

Kentucky 78
Vanderbilt 30
And then the bottom/shit tier. just bad...almost always.

A good number of big name schools (or at least not crap tier) looking for coaches all at once. Should be interesting.

Another coach down

Minnesota's Jerry Kill retires immediately, citing health reasons

Jerry Kill retires as Minnesota Golden Gophers football coach

this offseason will be pretty crazy
This program is such a mess right now. Between the old AD's sexting scandal and now Kill's seizures finally getting to the point where enough is enough, the school is looking at yet another reset of their football program.

Not that I really care. I didn't go to the U and I'm not a fan, but living up here and being a MN sports fan otherwise, you just end up learning a lot about whats going on. Kill seems like a good guy.

Kill has a fanbase down here in Missouri. He was a very successful highschool coach here in MO before he got into college coaching

These last few games will be the last for XBrax in the Shoe. It's been 6 years, and he's been on the radar since 2006 for the Buckeyes. Going to really miss him.

Too bad LSU isn't playing them this week. I don't think we have played against a starting QB this year.

Yeah, I don't see how they are going to be able to recruit for awhile, sad really.

That said, time foe the Wolverines to crush them and bring home the little brown jug!
