Bro, I would normally just reply like Liquid just did, but I'm not mad at you. The truth is that since 2008 neither OU or Texas has been very good and that was an opportunity for the average Big XII teams to step up and replace Nebraska and A&M as the other teams that would always contend at the top of the conference. Do you know who stepped up the most? Oklahoma fucking State. The Pokes went from a step above old Baylor to a team that is always looking to play spoiler and was one game away from being in the National Championship. Baylor, TCU, and WVU have seemed at times like they would step up too, but they always fuck it up and then go back to sucking for a good 3-5 years before shitting out another *almost* contender that looks good for 2 years and then fades away.
OU fans want out of this league because it is a disease of bad choices that hurt OUR ability to play enough meaningful games to get back to the top; a place we are familiar with and know that we always 1 year away from being in a position to return to.

There is no way to sufficiently "burn it down" with less than 100 days to the start of the season. Baylor will clean house after this season mercifully ends, but everyone is staying until then. If the Pepper/Hamilton report came out back in January, then there would have been plenty of time to clean house. Expecting Baylor to do so now is completely ridiculous.

Not starting a thread for Women's College Softball, but the Auburn vs. Oklahoma game that just ended had some great plays. Auburn was down by 7 runs to start. Came back and tied it 7 - 7. Auburn Left fielder saved a 3 run HR by catching it over the fence in the 6th. Then Auburn wins it in the 8th with a walk off grand slam. Series tied 1 - 1.
