On the other side of a potential Congressional act, there might be a world in which college football is even better than it has ever been. NIL and the transfer portal has added an element of load balancing across the landscape. It does allow schools like Indiana, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and others to try and breach their way into the elite. It's good for the viewer when 6 schools aren't hoarding all the elite talent. Furthermore, it also helps close the gap on the incredible financial advantages the major state universities receive from their prospective state governments (or the incredible bag-men networks large universities had to pay players off the books). As much as I enjoyed watching Alabama win every other title, or Nebraska absolutely annihilate everyone in the 90s I do like the increase and added element of parity in these tourneys.
This proposed bill also doesn't do anything against transsexuals, so we still get to stick it to women by beating them in their own sports!
