Adam Hughes battling stage 3C cancer​

The Eisner Award-winning artist, 58, has canceled all upcoming appearances, and will begin undergoing chemotherapy in the next two weeks.

Per a statement posted to his official website, artist Adam Hughes is battling stage 3C colorectal cancer. Hughes’s wife Allison Sohn explains that her husband was recently admitted to a hospital, where doctors removed a large mass from his lower gastrointestinal tract, that was then verified as being cancer.

After a Parkinson's diagnosis, Boris Vallejo is retiring at 85.



Hello everyone!​
I have an announcement to make and feel now is the time as we’ve received so many kind comments on our recently shared painting “Inferno”. Boris and I worked together on this piece for the past three years and we deeply appreciate all the notes from people who enjoy our collaborative paintings.​
Boris is now 85 and has Parkinsons. He has been creating magical worlds for others to enjoy for over five decades and is now officially retired from commercial or commissioned work. “Inferno” is his last piece of this type. This decision has taken quite some time to arrive at and even more time to feel ready to announce. He's still signing prints and cards, he still does some painting for himself, and he still plans to be at Illuxcon in October in Reading, PA because he loves seeing all of you and chatting about art!​
We thank everyone for all of the love and support you’ve shown all these years!​

Picked up a foil and regular copy of Dungeon Crawler Carl #0 from Vault comics. Seems to be about 100 different variant covers floating around, haha.



Also just picked up a signed copy of the Event Horizon Dark Descent hardcover graphic novel.

I believe something like 370+ total issues of Spawn. The Spawn Origins Deluxe volumes 1-8 cover the first 200 issues. I believe a volume 9 will drop sometime eventually, lol.

I don't know if they have omnibuses of them, but Curse of Spawn was a really good episodic anthology covering different Spawns throughout the ages. I remember the first three or four issues was a post-apocalyptic world where hell had taken over the earth, and it was a pretty crazy story.

If you like the original series, you'd probably enjoy those.

Oooo, nice, I'll have to look those up! :D I still have my Spawn vs Batman issues somewhere both from DC and Image, lol.
