I’m playing on an American PVP low pop server on PS5. I get decent ping. At first, things were fine. Over the last week, I bought the reduced price DLC’s. Not saying they caused the issues, but definitely when I noticed:
The biggest issue being that I can’t used any healing items. Though, as I type this, these have all been crafted for awhile and may have been corrupted after the purchases. I’ll make new ones and test.
The other issues are increased lag and textures not loading quickly enough and lag. Maybe these are related.
Yesterday I deleted the game and fully reinstalled only for the issues to persist.
Any suggestions?

I've been playing this again for the last week, this time on Gamepass/PC instead of PS4. Man, I love this game. I'm working on setting up my 2nd base up by Mounds of the Dead. I have a team of ~10 thralls guarding next to an NPC camp and I've just been instigating battles between them and farming all the shit they drop, then dumping it into a dismantler.
Apparently Golems are a thing now. Has anyone actually used them for farming materials like stone and iron and stuff? Are they worth it for that purpose? Seems like a lot of work to get them going.

You have to be close for them to function in harvesting i believe. I never saw the appeal, do it myself quicker and easier. Only time that would be helpful is if you're in an area just overloaded with like iron and can have the golem do it while you also do it and never get out of range of the golem.

heres a bump. I've certainly not been keeping up with this game.

But, it looks like they use a battlepass system. So I think the base game gets updated. but then, if you pay monthy, you get extra loot/cosmetics?
I am not up to date with what previous free updates have brought either.

I played a bit during the battle pass era. I just didn't find any of it useful so I didn't bother. Another lady that gets super into the housing stuff bought it just to get some cosmetic house build sets, like more elaborate walls and floors etc.
I keep wanting to circle back around to it one of these days, but for me the game is so "solved". I know where to go to get what I want and have it all memorized. I'd love a bit of discovery.

Siptah was fun for the newness of it for awhile. It had a really strange summoning mechanic for getting thralls. I think they ended up changing that a bunch.
There was also a bit of an eq expansion-like ship-before-done thing with the central tower. There was all sorts of buildup about the tower with scattered notes found all over the island, but you couldn't get in. Much later they opened it and all it was just a really tall room with a place to buy high end weapons with a currency they added. Bit of a let down and didn't really make any sense with the rest of the lore scattered about. Maybe whoever wrote all that left the project.
I think we had the most fun with siptah when we installed a mod that had a gateway between siptah and the old exiled lands so we could go back and forth.
If I had to pick between them I'd prefer the old map.

weird. Im not actually sold those visual "improvements" are actually better.
honestly, the game looked great before.
When they post shit like this and, "improved!"
is it though? less windswept grass, and more random, visual clutter?
