How is that any different from people who used "trainers" back in the day? Or Hex editors? The only difference is now you have to typically pay more for that. But that won't stop a certain subset of the population from doing it and generating extra profit.

The most I would pay for is weight/inventory. Because I despise inventory management to the depths of my soul. It's the first thing I mod in a game if I can and in BDO was one of the things I was willing to put money into(before they started giving inventory space away like candy).

I wish they'd show more of the other 2 chars. Wonder how complete that whole thing is, cause for years they've only been showing the fighter guy which is fine, but in that last teaser they had the giant berserker with the cannon and the woman valkyrie with a pistol and wondering if it's like a temporary thing or you can fully experience the game with them.

Anyway overall looks like a pretty solid game

The main story can only be done with Kliff(the fighter guy), you can do pretty much anything else with the other 2 once they are unlocked according to an interview I saw.

Is this just BDO combat in a single player game? Cus id buy that day 1.

If its just gay ass BDO style loot progression/fail stacks in some shitty non-bdo combat then pass

I believe they have expanded upon BDO combat to allow the player to have many more options on how to react to stuff, so everything you're used to in BDO, but more. One reviewer, from an old build, mentioned it felt like a fighting game in regards to how you can react to incoming actions. Whether this combat system will click with people or not will depend on how much of the expanded mechanics you will -need- master. If you can get by with playing the game as if you were playing a BDO Warrior (and later a Ranger / Zerker), then I think most ppl will be happy with it... but if you'd need to be a sweaty FGC type to win vs. bosses, it'll tank.

Nice they compiled a bunch of their classes onto a few chars, especially the non MC ones. Berserker guy can also do Striker stuff and the female char seems to be a big mix of Valk/Deadeye/Nova and the 2H sword stuff(which I guess is Seraph inspired but wonder if there's some Drakania/Dark Knight stuff mixed in too).

Sadly all of this makes the MC look kinda boring in comparison.

Are some of these classes you mentioned from BDO? I never played BDO and the combat looks amazing in this game. Hell everything I have seen so far looks amazing.

Every type of combat you've seen so far in Crimson Desert is based on a class in BDO, though the classes in BDO are limited to 1 or 2 weapon types.

Get ready for some piano playing on your keyboard. I mean the combat in BDO was great but it took some time and muscle memory for some of those classes with the different combos and shit.
