They would be foolish not sell some outfits for the characters and skins for various things, the pre-order bonuses have that already. My comment was more in regards to putting out DLC/Updates that interact with the world / systems they've made; new Abyss features, new forts for your troops to claims, new crafts, etc. I never played AC Valhalla, but I had friends who did and they would always tell me about stuff Ubisoft released after launch. So something like that.

This has a New World look to it. The perspective and graphics feel very New World. That is not a bad thing as I enjoyed the animation of New World a lot.

Because they know the blowback they'll get. They have every intent to monetize this.

Whether or not they can do so effectively depends on how well this game does from a sales/review standpoint.

The latest lifeskill video has me interested in the game finally, the world seems like it's gonna be massive. I also want it to do well for BDO's sake (hopefully).
