Did a rare main quest mission last night , one place invaded another and I was in charge of .....standing up flags? The cannons were a blast though!

If only there was an entire thread of people saying the MSQ sucks and sandbox exploration is the entire appeal of the game you could have avoided this.

I just hit 139 hours, and barely just left Pailune (2nd zone). I still have a lot to do in the first 2 zones but not sure what unlocks the remaining side quests. Still have a bit of the map to explore too in Pailune.
I am still enjoying the game, just wish I had more time to play (playoff hockey taking some time from gaming).
I can't wait for the next patch to come out, looks pretty nice.

139 hours, goddamn. I'll give it a try for a couple days but there are a lot of other things I need to get to on my vacation week and it sounds like it'd be better left for later when I have less going on.
Going straight for the wrestling moves of course.

Figured out how to rephrase my question and maybe not have anybody jump down my throat this time!
What is the rough minimum runtime of this game, if I were to generally go briskly through it and not go out of my way too much to do all the extra stuff, just doing the fun stuff / things that are absolutely worth doing? How much time would it take to just get a solid experience out of it without sticking around too long or doing everything? Just a minimum playthrough while doing everything that's must-see. We talking 40 hours? 70 hours? 100 hours?
On the Pro, I'm finding Quality to maintain a pretty decent framerate if 120 Hz is turned on. The sharpness (from PSSR) is very nice too. I might actually be able to play this on Quality as a result. The framerate drawback in Quality isn't as noticeable as it'd be in a 30 FPS game (I think it's probably around 45, if I had to guess), while the quality drawback in Performance is more noticeable. Both are good in different ways, mostly leaving it on Quality though.
I wish more Pro games would just give us one omni-setting that has the best of everything to max out the Pro. I think Stellar Blade and Hogwarts Legacy both have one. Most of the time it's still a choice, unfortunately.

Now I haven’t finished the game yet, so take this for what it’s worth, but I would estimate that you’re looking to around 60 to 100 hours or so. The range is large because some optional content can be time consuming like taking care of the camp, or the witches quest chains…while optional both provide significant power boost and features.

If you don't take the time to really explore anything and used a guide to just blast the MSQ it's still easy over 50+, but you will likely get hard stuck on some fights without dedicating a hefty amount of time upgrading gear/farming mats for food to brute force boss fights even using common items that let you refine without heavy raw material farming.
It would be a waste imo to play this game that way when there are so many things to do puzzle/exploration wise as that is really the biggest appeal of the game since the MSQ is kind of ass. You could spend 100+ hours easily just in the starting western half of the map doing side quests and finding hidden shit.

Started playing. Controls are the biggest challenge; how is there no in game key map for anything but keyboard when they have a fucking warning that you should use a controller to play???
Game is beautiful and I'm doing 150 to 200 fps with frame gen and everything on Cinematic, 1440p, FSR quality upscale.
