it becomes muscle memory at some point. I'm not playing anything else until I am done with CD. Funny thing is , I stopped playing Spiderman 2 because of the confusing controls - lol.

Well that's it , done. Not sure if it was the monster crab that keeps bucking you that you have to stab that kept kicking me off and killing me, or the 100000000000 fucking attempts to land on a fucking dragons back, or the night run (with a timer) through the hills in chapter 9 (or a combo of them all) but I realized I was making myself finish the game and stopped. 139 hrs in so I got my $$ worth. May go back but that backlog is looking at me side eyed.

Anyone messed w/ modding,. Game so crazy doesn't really need anything other than I want to try it w/ steam controller if I can snag one.
I hate nude mods because they generally seem super cringe/lame like main character just nude all the time and that kind of stuff. But I kinda wish the game could be a little more rated M with some actual hookers or a few random hotties in low cut bodices in general, not even nude neccesarily. (And other than teenage me, brief stupid sex scenes like in God of war don't do much for me)

Almost disapointed that this fell off for everyone, I'm finally chapt 8 or whatever starting Pailune, really stupid you get damiane but then she's locked on a super secret mission forever.
Was max 10 refinement, crit 3 and usual attack gears before completing 5, so kinda made it a little stupid for myself with how easy most boss fights are. Debating just going straight to killing beloth and accept I'll cruise rest of the game.
But bumping because yall might want to read the last half dozen patch notes theyve added just so so much shit.
Baby wryverns that you can grow up to fly, 5 of them w/ elemental attacks, made dragon easier to use longer, changes to the atag robot I havn't gotten to. Lots of QOL in the camp, including now dressing up outside your house, I have a juke box and a giant cat wheel.
A few arcade games added, rolling ball sucks but fortunately the main rewards are tied behind pinball which was recently nerfed so if you dont like it wont take too long to buy all the rewards.

It seems they’re already at that point. The only things they’re doing now is just adding small stuff, new armor sets, small QoL. They haven’t changed anything with the story or main quests. It’s pretty wild how they just keep adding things each week. I’m wondering if they will just keep doing this until they release and expansion.

All the gear additions, UI changes, companion changes, pet changes, mount additions, unique monster attacks, etc. etc. etc. - All of that shit is great. Four months after its release and theyre still pushing out everything that was in the pipeline for the originally planned MMO and we're getting it all for free. Thats amazing in its own right.
But for me to play for more than 5 minutes - they've got to add a major DLC or an outright expansion. Something that cleans up the story, adds a lot more story and takes your character to places that the story doesnt even touch outside of self motivated exploration.
As far as Game of the Year? its been one of the best games Ive played in a long time. I'd rate it game of the year, 2026, definitely. Cause I havent picked up anything else that inspired me to no life it like this one did this year. That doesnt mean it beats out BG3, Witcher 3, Elden Ring, etc. in the previous years, though.

I heard in early June there was a DLC coming, and Ive been waiting patiently for that kind of news - but nothing other than its confirmation. The story overhaul will likely make it a complete replay with a more focused dive on completion - but.. I said that about Witcher 3 every time a DLC came out. I just get lost in the sauce every fkn time.

Honestly it's one of the best games I have ever played. I cannot wait to see what they do with this. It's like a bastion of hope in a sea of shit right now because I guarantee you TES 6 and Witcher 4 are going to fucking blow DEI ass chunks and fail.
