Are they going to have the new Xbox 2020 console with a Cyberpunk version? That is one I'd be interested in.

Well the game comes out a fair bit before the consoles so it'd make sense for it to be available at launch with new consoles. Wether it'll be bundled though I don't think so cause it's multiplat and a lot of people will have bought the PS4/Xboxone versions and iirc they said you'll be able to play these directly without buying the game again, so it's a bit of a waste then.

If you buy the xbox one x version at release it will be free to you on the new xbox sex. No word from Sony yet. Xbox/PS5 optimizations for Cyberpunk 2077 won't be ready for the console releases so it might perform somewhat better but it won't really take advantage till a later update.

I mean is the truth of all this that they tried to make this game, realized they were low on budget, reached out to an investor and got the "yeah you can borrow money at X interest rate but you gotta do all this progressive (lol) stuff in it"?

Sad to hear it, but ultimately I'd rather they delay than release strings of post launch patches to address game breaking bugs that have become the norm these days. This isn't like Star Citizen where it's released in "early access" for ten years while nickle and diming for "donations."

More time for new Nvidia cards to come out and shit and ultimately I don't care when I play it, just that I do eventually and it doesn't suck.

Some other companies must be annoyed they keep moving it though cause I assume a lot of people in the business are trying to dodge that release.
