If anyone else is thinking about Chrome Compressor for a new playthrough that's 'different' ... don't.
There's really just two types of super expensive cyberware -- skeleton/integumentary, and the cortex stuff for netrunners. Also, Axolotl. Well if you're running a Chrome Compressor, you don't need any of the netrunner stuff, and Axolotl is for sandevistan builds, so you end up with three 'wares in cortex that all combined only cost 13. Then all the expensive skeleton/integumentary stuff gets reduced by 20% because of the very first mandatory Tech perks. After picking all the things I needed for 1500+ armor and tech weapons, I still couldn't even get into the +50 cap from Edgerunner at all. In the end I just dropped the Compressor for the iconic Netdriver deck (4 Int so I can use the vehicle quickhacks at half cost) and I'm at exactly 354/354 capacity. Only sacrifice I had to make was to drop the iconic ranged crit cyberware down to the normal version.
Can't think of any other build type that would actually want the Chrome Compressor when the obvious one can't even use it. At least the build is fun now that I have vehicle quickhacks and basic deck stuff back though, so CC being garbage wasn't a total loss.
