So slowly advancing in my parry playthrough. It really sucks that often on mobs, I'm not sure if I "missed" the parry or if it was doing an attack that isn't parryable. Other than looking this shit up, for the parry masters out there, is there a rule of thumb for this? Having trouble finding a good video or resource for parry tips. Too many of them are pvp vids or ones just talking about the number of parry frames.

Using target shield and estoc atm. Wondering if I might be better off just using a normal shield that can parry, rather than restrict myself to the small shield. Ah well, at least it motivates me to try and parry more.

I'm 100% roll for evasion so no shield and no parry, but I hear the smaller shield have a larger window.

Finally hit 40 int and got got sorcery ring from Irithyl Dungeon. Finally feel like the build isn't entirely gimped. Got a headshot on the giant in Irithyl dungeon for around 800.

Still need 20 more int and at least 4 more att, and endurance is still at base value, so sorcery asks a hell of a lot, but it's at least beginning to yield results.

Is it really inferior this time around? Sure the PC has better graphics/fps but I've been reading it has some serious stability issues. What about hacking, is that prevalent on the PS4 like the PC?

That being said, If my PC could handle it, Id have it there instead of the PS4 most likely.

I haven't had a single issue with the PC version. I play entirely offline though, so I'm not sure how prevalent the hacking really is.

Well at least there is one new weapon. Just combined both of the soul weapons from lothric fight and it gives you twin princes greatsword

Lol what the fuck, i figured the "secret" ending where you attack as the screen fades would count towards that ending for the achievement. It definitely does not.

Are you using both rings (magic clutch ring stacks with sage's, and if you're worried about the damage increase it can be offset by the steel ring), Crown of Dusk, and Scholar's Candlestick?

Can't find my Xbox controller wireless dongle that let me use it on PC, and I was reading problems getting a PS4 controller to work with PC?

Anyone had success? I'm gonna keep googling, but if someone is already doing it and it works, let me know. Thanks.

I one shot a lot of invaders with a 64 int, crystal soul spear, steady chant, 4 rings. Of course, if they're not compeltely retarded then they can dodge the spells by merely breathing but If i'm in a 2v1 vs an invader, that bitch melts as soon as he engages my teammate.

DS4Windows, same as always. Make sure to check "Hide DS4 Controller" in Settings.

wow, got Nameless king to 50% on first try, then ran out of Estus... most of my time was wasted fighting the hitbox of the dragon birdie...

After beating the game I started over on NG and am up to the boss of Cleansing Chapel. I've been using that cheat guide a few pages back to make sure I don't miss things this time around. I didn't go into NG+ because my character was such a mess and I figured it would be better to just start over than try and figure out a good reallocation of stats. I tried to build my original character as a Hybrid because that worked really well in older games but Sorcery is just so gutted in 3. As someone said above it can work but it takes way too much effort to be productive. I had 35 Intelligence but my Attunement was too low to get more than 3 Soul Spears off and they really weren't hitting for much more than one of the upgraded Soul Arrows. No thanks.

My new character is going pure melee. I started as a Knight since they have a really good stat allocation. I might toss one level into Intelligence to reach 10 so I can get the one guy to the Shrine and go for the collect all Sorceries Trophy but that would be it. I'm putting all of my points into Strength, Health and Stamina. I devoted enough points into Dexterity to equip the Longbow and I'll keep my weight just under 70%. So far it's been a lot easier. Sure a lot of that comes from knowing the game but I can tell that I'm killing things a lot faster. From old games I prefer the Claymore and that's what I'm using again. I just like the moveset.

After messing with sorc I went pyromancer chaos fire orb spell is the tits.

Dancer at SL30 is really hard, but I want that Hornet Ring. Anyone have any tips? All the people who leave summon signs down are pitifully useless.

Dodge and roll, I one shot her so I don't remember exactly what she does other than move around like a bitch.

Finished it last night, boy did I miss a bunch of quests, I will echo what others have said, the last boss was pretty easy compared to the rest, I skipped Nameless king and came back to him after, he should have been the final boss.

Fun game, I liked BB more, but not by a lot.
