I got mine set up last night, but it was too late to do anything but install Windows and make sure everything seemed ok.

Major complaint I have about every manufacturer these days, not just computer-related, is that no one gives you a fucking manual in the box anymore. It's all, go to our website! Fuck you, I'm building a computer so there is a good chance I can only view your website on my phone right now, and I just paid hundreds of dollars for your shit...print out a fucking manual and put it in the box! I fucked up and forgot to plug some shit in after putting the water cool radiator in because there was no manual reminding me until I scoured through the one on my phone, so I had to take the whole fucking radiator back off to get to it. Except that later I discovered that 2 fucking screws could have allowed me to just detach the whole piece and reach the plugs I needed. Because *if* they give you a manual, it is still only half-assed (LianLi) and doesn't show as much as the full one that is online shows.

On the other hand, props to LianLi for giving me a super-handy little parts box with movable dividers and shit! Best thing I got out of all this shit, except for the working computer I guess. That box made it so much easier to keep shit where I needed it during setup.

Not too enthused about the graphics card literally completely covering all the sata plug-ins for when I decide to add/transfer over some of those from my old computer. I might have to take the card out completely to even reach them.

Also, this motherfucker is HEAVY. As mentioned I decided to go with water cooling (Arctic III or whatever one Lanx was promoting earlier in the thread), and this whole PC has got to easily be over 50 lbs. That's with ZERO mechanical drives, not even SSDs.

Still, seems amazing and I'm sure I'll be really happy with it.

Thanks for the MAS thing for Windows too, worked like a charm!
I agree. The gigabyte mobo having not much of a manual so I had to go to their website was lame.

EquLly lame was my work laptop blocking the MS site so I had to do some janky shit to make an installer

Bro if you knew what you were going to build with , why didn't you have the pdf of the manual handy already? I usually pop it up on another PC monitor for when I need to look at something. Also made thumb drives with all the drivers/etc ready to rock. I also overplan things so it's probably me.

I saw that today. I made a HTPC back in the day out of one of those. Thing had like 12 tuners and my wife still found a way to run out of channels to record on.
It was a great case for it's time . Hey found pics, this is from 2007-2008. Think at one point I had a cablecard tuner as well. That's a special kind of hell btw.

I opened the gigabyte mobo box and saw a manual so figured I was good to go. It was not the full manual. I really only needed it to make sure I was using the right headers so I pulled it up on my phone.
