Looking at the images and the "extra case fans" in the core components list, it has plenty of fans. Possibly too many. I don't like the 3 front fans right next to 2 side fans.you have no input fans at all, and all that negative pressure?

So, that's a computer for a 14 year old Japanese girl, right?Looking at the images and the "extra case fans" in the core components list, it has plenty of fans. Possibly too many. I don't like the 3 front fans right next to 2 side fans.

Peacocks gonna peacock. It probably comes with the default front fans in place but even if it doesn't, it's probably going to be fine with just the one in the rear and the 3 over the rad.
Frankly I think cooling has reached total meme levels. People using 360mm rads for 100W CPUs (which run nowhere near their peak power while gaming) and sticking half a dozen fans in a case that's only slight more closed off than a parrot cage. It's fan shaped RGB dressup.
well, i mean if youre gonna have a 360rad, thats already 3 exhaust and you have the 140 in the back, thats already 4 exhaust, so you need 5 in frontIt probably comes with the default front fans in place but even if it doesn't, it's probably going to be fine with just the one in the rear and the 3 over the rad.

Low pressure means dust buildup. You could run exhaust fans slower, however.Air molecules can't count, they don't care if the number of fans doesn't match. Air will find its way, especially with how porous modern cases are.
you could buy a prebuilt computer from 15years ago and it'd be at least physically compatible w/ a 9070xt only by just plugging it into the mb, it won't be as fast, and it certainly won't have a powerful enough psu or even the power connectors to power up the video cardMy current setup:
Lenovo Legion Go
Xbox Series X
Aoostar EGPU w/ 800w psu
HDMI 2.1 Anker cables into a HP Omen 165 hz IPS monitor
I probably sound like a broken record, but need some advice.
Through Amazon's scammer fuckup, Amazon.com is willing to sell me specifically a 9070 XT 16 GB for $530. I would go with this, but Ive read horror stories with the Lenovo Legion Go and AMD cards, that the Z1X igpu drivers constantly fuck with the AMD eGPU drivers.
However. I am looking at my buddy's old gaming pc earlier today to make an offer either on the computer as a whole, or just the gpu. He doesnt know what the gpu is, he doesnt reallyk now anything about building pcs or stats, he's a PS5 player that never touches his old pre-built gaming pc.
Are there any things I need to look out on the MOBO for this current generation of gpus? I want to makesure if I buy his old computer that is compatible with a 2025 AMD GPU. If I buy his old computer, Im wondering if I will be able to swap out the GPU for the 9070 XT 16 GB, maybe update the SSD and the RAM, update the drivers, then call it a day.
I'm mostly likely assuming his set up is a basic ass entry-level gaming pc from Costco from 2019.
Well. I'm going to go look at it today.you could buy a prebuilt computer from 15years ago and it'd be at least physically compatible w/ a 9070xt only by just plugging it into the mb, it won't be as fast, and it certainly won't have a powerful enough psu or even the power connectors to power up the video card
which is probably what your buddy has and most assuredly the same issues will apply, you can plug it in, but the psu will be underpowered and not even have the connectors powering up the 9070xt
also how much would you pay for a computer that a guy has no idea is in it? it's not like it'll be a barn find and you get a pristine 1970 mustang, no it's gonna be junk with 10years worth of dust.
Is ur psu up to snuff?I just bought a 5070 ti (ASUS TUF) for $1000 + tax. Trading in my RTX 4060 TI for $300, and getting $200 back from a credit card offer, so all in I paid $500 to upgrade.
Gaming at 3440x1440 for now but eventually 4k so I hope this was a decent upgrade.
Dune, Oblivion remastered.. these games are stuttering for me at 1440p with my current card
I wish there were sites for looking up optimal BIOS settings. I'm just not that keen on keeping up with all that shit anymore.
Is ur psu up to snuff?
yea if it's a corsair it should be good, a 650 should net you 4 pcie connectors and you need 3 to go into the adapter to go into the card.I plugged my components into PCpartpicker and it said I need about 450W. Right now I have a 650W corsair 80% gold psu.. so I think I should be fine.
