Eh, it all crashes on them once the supply catches up, but that will be a bit. 3090s have definitely tanked on the secondary market while 3080s are holding strong.

I see the 3060 ti is supposed to make it’s debut on 12/2. Anyone have tips for securing one? I’ve been trying to find a 3070 with no luck... might have to settle for a 2060 super since those are pretty easy to find atm.

Not a hardware guy what so ever, I usually buy a computer from I-power every 4 years on black friday and its that time again. Any guidance on the best bang for your buck and most importantly where to spend the extra dollars to extend the longevity? I use this one strictly for gaming and streaming on the 2nd monitor. I have 2 34 inch wide screen monitors already so just need the base unit.

Not looking to break the bank on 100% bleeding edge that will be 50% of the price in a year but I don't want to mess with any upgrades over the next 4 years either. Don't have a target budget but had figured around 1k-1500 would hopefully get me a solid base with typically discounting that goes on black friday? Any alternative to I-Power?

Appreciate anyone's time who helps a non-techie out !

AMD Radeon 6000 Series Gaming Evolution: iBUYPOWER®

Skytech AZURE Gaming PC Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.80 GHz, RTX 3070 8 GB, 16 GB DDR4 3600, 1 TB Gen4 SSD, B550 Motherboard, 650W Gold PSU, Windows 10 Home 64-bit, Black - Newegg.com

Skytech Legacy 3.0 Gaming PC Desktop - Intel Core i7-9700K 3.60 GHz, RTX 3070 8 GB, 16 GB DDR4 3000, 1 TB NVMe SSD, Z390 Motherboard, 750W Gold PSU, Windows 10 Home 64-bit - Newegg.com

ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Ryzen 7 3700X - GeForce RTX 3070 - 16GB DDR4 3000MHz - 1TB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD - Newegg.com

While ibuypower and cyberpower are ok, some prebuilts come with better internals it seems. 3070 is better than the other options in most builds sub 1600

It's pretty crazy that it has been 11 months and the processor I bought he gone up in price $11
In fact I looked through all the pricing. MB same. Samsung Evo $20 less. Seasonic PSU $20 more Ram $30 more
It would cost more to build my pc now by about $50 overall than it did in December/Jan and all the stuff is still being sold/suggested.
I guess I hit the after holiday deals and didn't realize it.
