Fan shroud touches mobo, I noticed. Can’t move the fans anywhere. Fan still spins fine. Cooling system can’t be shifted forward in the case any further. Can go up. Only option is fuck around to try and move to mobo down? No other mounting holes for it though.

your case is really stout, and thin (usually top mounted fans are eschewed more towards the door side) you could try front mounting it, if it gets in your way, you "should" have room?

I might be able to remove some internal bracing bits to mount in the front. I'll take a look. The height is there, but I think there's sections (and framing) built in for 8 HDs that I'd have to remove. There's so much room under the MOBO and between the power supply. Its annoying all the mounting points are tucked up into the top two thirds.

Looking at the manual for your case, if you want to keep the top mount radiator, take the fans off it and mount them to the top of the bracket with airflow pushing through the radiator. Arctic radiators are on the thicker side, so you probably can't put the radiator above the mounting bracket. Otherwise, front mounting the radiator is your only real option. Just make sure to mount is so the tubes are at the bottom of the radiator, not the top.

Interesting option. I'll admit I wasn't aware that I could change the orientation of the fans and radiator. It all came pre-assembled. I'll give that a shot too. Thanks.

Yep, leaving it as it is pre assembled is just the easiest way to go. If you want to keep the fans in a pull configuration you can see if there's enough space to fit it above the bracket and mount the fans below.

This is one of the reasons I prefer bigass cases. I want plenty of room for whatever shit I want to put in there, including HDDs.

Haha, I thought I was getting a overly large case. Which, it is. But, the everything is so crammed together.

I should be able to find a work-around. If I didn't have to edit every single picture I take with my phone before posting them (file sizes are too large for the forum) it would be easier to show all the nuances of this project.

Looked at a couple videos of builds in that case and they all seem to have much more clearance with a top radiator. Not a fan of the top glass, that's going to severely restrict airflow.

I may or may not have all of the shrouding on the outside of the case. We'll see. Its not going to be used as a display piece on top of a desk or anything.

I just went back and took a look at your part list again. Did you go with the Adata case or the Lian Li? I was actually basing my suggestions on the Adata. Didn't realize the case changed when MsQueen plugged it in to pcpartpicker.

what the heck, the enthoo is like a 10year old case, did they give it to you for free?
Yup. I'm 100% not opposed to just buying another case. They are cheap and I won't be home the next 4 days, so I can wait for it to ship.

Unless you want keep the top cover off, my previous suggestion won't work for that case. Plus mounting a 420 to the front is not an option at all.

so are you looking for a case recommendation?

a modern case (when we say modern, we mean updated with quality of life features)

is like the flux
Antec Flux Wood
you like wood?

or the 3d glass wrap around
Antec C8 Wood

If you want to top mount the radiator, cancel that and order the Flux Pro. It can take 420mm radiators with a total thickness of 70 mm up top and the Arctic LF3 comes in at 67.5 mm.

Both case descriptions say they can handle 420mm, but the regular Flux is a "mid tower" rather than a Full like the pro. Looks like the Pro has 2 inches more room in height and width. That's a lot.

Also, that dude's teeth are terrible.

Dunno why it doubled up the quote there.

It was the thickness, not the length that got you with the Enthoo. Just trying to avoid that again.

Also, Tech Jesus is above reproach.
