LIAN LI O11D MINI V2 Flow | Compact ATX Mid-Tower Airflow Computer Case | Panoramic View | High-Performance Airflow | Includes 5 x 120mm Reverse Blade Fans | Cable Management | Black (O11DMIV2FX)

it's the same price w/ lian li quality and all the modern amenities of pc case 2025
What would be the practical difference between the two? It runs cooler?

it benchmarks really well

i would have no idea how the other case benches, it's essentially an enclosed open air test bench
I dont know much about building my own computers. I've done it before, but it was a disaster in fall 2024. I built a 7800 xt / 7600x build in a mid-sized msi tower. I spent 12 hours working on it over 3 days and just decided to abandon it and get a legion go instead. However, if this case is better and the same size, I'm down. I appreciate the advice.

well all the more better than, since the o11 mini has the traditional architecture of a pc case, you can easily follow along w/ any guide like this one i guess

and you can read the manual and follow a guide and ask this type of question

and everyone would be able to help you out and you'd even understand what the heck standoff is.

but it is not the same size, it is wider

Alright, this is what I'm thinking about going with. Again, this isn't a gaming PC, mostly just a workstation for some software dev tinkering and the aforementioned Thinkorswim trading platform.

Waiting on Prime Day to see if any of this stuff goes on sale. Also, decided on a 9700x instead of 9900x. 9900x seems like an overkill and for single threaded apps and doesn't really offer much benefit for my uses anyway.

Thinkorswim needs a gpu its more gpu heavy than cpu.
