AsFor only gaming, is there any benefit to getting a 64 over a 32? I get for productivity tasks for work, but for just pew pew pew I'm clueless.

It's a trap to get you to play Outlaws, you should get PAID $200 to play it!INTHEMIDSTOFLIONS you should just buy this bundle and then sell the rest to recoup the cost - at least you'd get 32GB of DDR5 for $200:

ASUS TUF GAMING Z890-PLUS WIFI Motherboard + 32GB Corsair RAM + Star Wars: Outlaw GE - 2025-11-05
Newegg has ASUS TUF GAMING Z890-PLUS WIFI LGA 1851 ATX Motherboard + 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 Desktop Memory + Intel Motherboard Bundle: Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition (PCDD Game) onslickdeals.net
I own it on Xbox, ps5, and steam. easily GOTYIt's a trap to get you to play Outlaws, you should get PAID $200 to play it!

When I go to newegg, it only shows the MOBO for $200 not the MOBO + DDR5.
I appreciate it. I think once it hits black friday I'll buy everything and just hopefully there will be a 2x16 slash, but if there's not, I can buy 2x16 on Ebay. There's a handful on there tht are 6000 mhz CL30 for about $150. That price isn't great, but it's a smaller price to pay for the current market demand.Sorry about that - the deal must have expired by then.
Best I can find right now is: DOMINATOR® TITANIUM RGB 48GB (2x24GB) DDR5 DRAM 6400MT/s CL36 Intel XMP Memory Kit — Black
2x 24GB kit for $199 - it's CL36 instead of CL30, but the real world gaming performance is only about 1% difference, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Wth tell her to stay in her laneThere are some 2x16 6000mhz CL30 nearby that are like $80 on craigslist, but wife wants me to buy somewhere that has warranty.
What monitors do you have? What hz?Meant to do this upgrade 3 or so years ago but things got in the way, mostly vacations.

Any knowledgeable criticisms and advice would be appreciated.

go goole steam input and see how to link discord app to controller button, i'm assuming youre using a controller, if not you can also do hotkeyI’m buying all the parts for my new pc this month and am wondering about OS.
I think I’d like to do Bazzite or Chimera OS (both based on Linux) rather than windows.
I only use Steam as a launcher. My question is:
- does battlefield 6 run ok on non windows programs? Just wondering about anti cheat software bc I’ve heard it sometimes won’t work on non windows programs
- is there a way to launch discord directly FROM steam? Right now I have to exit big picture mode then launch the discord app. I can’t find any videos on this. Only videos on “launch discord from steam deck” not launch discord from steam app on windows.

I appreciate it!With Windows 10 being EoL and Win11 being shady, and Win12 is pretty much guaranteed to be using AI and Recall, moving to Linux is going to happen for more people concerned about their privacy.
One of the biggest issues when I was using it was you couldn't do online gaming because of the Kernel level anti-cheats the online games we played used.
CachyOS actually built in support for Secure Boot and Easy Ant i Cheat and BattlEye, so you can play things like Rivals, Fortnight, etc online: Gaming with CachyOS Guide
I think more versions of Linux will end up doing something like this, but I believe game companies will also need to make Anti-Cheat measures that are Linux compatible and not require Root/Kernel level access going forward.
Hopefully more Linux OSes take note and provide more options - at least if you don't do the online shooters, pretty much everything works with any version of Linux.
Anyway, if you wanted to check it out, more info is here: Welcome to the CachyOS Wiki
yeah, there are quite a few good Linux OSes these days and anything based on Arch (SteamOS swapped over to them) is really great.
Honestly Proton does all the heavy lifting, so you really can't go wrong.
Now if you wanted to play BF6/CoD, you're stuck with Windows, but for almost everything else, you're good to go
