I want a progression style re-release of D1 and then into D2. I really miss all of the cheese and unbalanced jank in OG D1, like forcing aetheon to suicide with grenades, Crota disconnect kill (lol), and soloing nightfalls with icebreaker camped in mostly unhittable spots. Plus Gjallarhorn being such a broken weapon.

I tried to get back into D2 recently but for someone that hasn’t played since early D2 it seemed impossible to get into.

I missed the D1 bandwagon and refuse to shell out all the cash for a console and shit to try it. A remaster would sate me for sure.

wow those reddit pugging days were intense. took us 5hrs to pull aethon and its always at the wee hrs when the eyes and hands were shaking to off aetheon for the first time. same deal w crota. so good times indeed

I remember doing the Aetheon trick with Xexx ( I think), and then hearing all whining as I got two exotics (Mythic last and something else).

They fixed that at some point but there always seemed to be some other tricks to make fights easier than they were supposed to be. Shit was just fun.

I remember many a rage quit when I was trying to get it to work before I made a hotkey. Like toss the mouse across the room and bellowing incoherently mad lol.
