How long did it take Sarthis to get it done? Trying to do it now but it's a bit painful, same problem as earlier with a lvl 27 trying to do it.

i've done hm atheon cheese 5 times now, three times on 29 lock and twice on 28 titan. some tips
- you have to be 28 imo, at 27 its way too easy to die before he dies
- go to orbit every time you fail, it resets your grenade CDs but also first time atheon spawns it takes him longer so you can get up to the side pillar before he starts moving
- nut hug that pillar, you wanna get him to come around it (either side is fine) and be standing so that his back is to the fall off spot, his two legs should be in the little weeds on the ground
- toss one nade at his right foot, jump like a retard so he doesn't hit you, when he moves back a foot or two toss second nade again at his new right foot. you should NOT move much left or right, it makes him move sideways instead of backwards
- with 2 ppl, make sure you both are hugging the pillar and moving together. if more than 2 ppl, the other people should suicide at the start so he has fewer targets
- sometimes he will just not move fast enough, orbit and redo
- spec your shit into agility so you can get there faster. some weapons also give you + agility
i'm pretty sure its gonna be stealth hotfixed tomorrow (they dont like to list huge exploits like this) so keep practicing its pretty fun to do

Dunno about Sarthis, but I went back in and flagged a few friends. We figured out a pretty good way to duo him and "downed" him 3 times in under 30 minutes.
One guy ran to that hidden ledge (posted a day or so ago [since removed]) over the side by the far second left pillar. Atheon will follow him over to near the edge, thus placing him in perfect position. Once there I shot at him to turn him, then threw my solar grenades. It's also worth noting that if you fail to position him for whatever reason, make sure Atheon kills you as that doesnt reset your super.
Just ran one of my characters through the nightfall, and got no rewards for the first time.

I suspect Icebreaker will have a nerf headed down the pipe shortly. I dont think it was an accident that Suros Regime landed on Xur while they were data collecting for the Auto Rifle changes. Putting a best-in-class example of a given weapon into as many hands as possible is the best way to get hard stats on practical applications.

Well, they're going to have to find something new to cry about when they still suck at PvP despite the nerfs. Inc, Visions of Confluence, MIDA Multitool and maybe Icebreaker.

Can they fix Confluence to stop it from Fucking jamming today too? Most annoying thing about it as it happens decently often.

I only ever see PS4/Xbone people complain about the jamming, which also affects pulse rifles with the full auto mod. Last gen players have bumpers and triggers reversed by default (which is by far the superior control scheme imo, who the hell wants to squeeze an analog trigger to aim/shoot when they can press a button that is digital and fires instantly?). I've never had my full auto Bad Seed Down, Fair and Square, or Bad Juju stop firing on me and I don't expect to have a problem with VoC either whenever RNGesus finally decides I can have one.

It's something to do with the PS4 controller itself. My Vision of Confluence never jams, but I also have a pretty new PS4 (bought it with Destiny). The trigger is pressure sensitive, so I suspect it has something to do with that.
If you swap the control scheme, it shouldn't jam on you anymore.

I have the white Destiny PS4, so new much like yours. It seems to happen when I get shot at moreso than anything.

My dualshock controller has had sticking problems with the shoulder buttons which required some cleaning to correct. Very small particulate seemed to cause it to jam up easily. Never had it happen with an older controller so it might be a manufacturing process issue with the dualshock 3 controllers.

Usually start around 7pst. However I am not even sure if our normal crew will be on tonight. So who knows. Definitely later than 6 PST though.
I'm glad we eventually managed to cheese hard-mode Atheon but it sure was a frustrating experience. I feel as though beating him legit will be much more satisfying, even if the loot RNG isn't kind.
I'd love to tag along if you guys have room for normal-mode VOG this week. I want revenge and I feel like a 2+ hour PUG kill won't satisfy that.
