I don't necessarily mind the grinding for materials. Its not my favorite thing to do but there are plenty of circuits to run that will get you a TON of materials in 30 - 60 minutes. Then again I am a sick sonuva bitch that played a monk in EQ and did over 200 real life hours at the Raster camp in LGuk so I guess I got past the whole "wow this is really boring" aspect pretty quick =)

Its a small price to pay to level up your weapons and armor. I am a believer in you have to make an investment to get to the top tier. You can't just be handed it on a silver platter.

its pretty fucked up though that i have two level 30s and have never legit done a hard mode raid and only actually completed a full normal raid like... twice. works for me tho, I doubt the DLC raids will allow that kind of cheesing and exploits (or maybe they will!)

i was totally into logging into this game daily and doing shit, good fun stuff to do while catching up on all the TV shows i missed. been playing AC5 though the last 4 days and didn't log in once, and now i just don't feel like playing destiny at all. with gta5 next week i probably will skip out on raids and nightfall too now.

I'm at the point where I don't know that I'd ever use anything other than a Scout Rifle and Fusion Rifle/Sniper Rifle. They're just the best of the best. I'd love an infinite ammo Fusion Rifle for PVP.

From what I have seen in the way of map making skills from Bungie in this game, I guess the only way they can remove the exploiting of bosses is the following:

1) Raid map is one long corridor boxed in with walls and roof.
2) Boss is stuck in one spot with a safety railing around it.

Anything not including these two steps will let players find a way to exploit it somehow

(Seriously tho, I like to be able to do the raids in 30-40 min, and I tip my hat to the players that spent the time finding all the not-so-obvious ways of using "creative gameplay" to get around the boring bits).

I don't mind it either. But the real problem IMO is the artificial cocblocks for the shards and shit. When youre in that 25-28 lv range its hard to get them to level up your shit to 27 or 28, When you can finally do the raid. And if you have one character, you can really only get like 2 or so per day in any reliable way. Even if they added them as rare drops to mobs it would help out. There is just so many artificial cockblocks in this game that artificially keep you from advancing, its silly. Who gives a shit? Open the floodgates a bit.

I had a decent round of raids this week. I can get my Hunter to 30 and I just need exotic or raid arms to get my titan to 30, but I'll try to get the Iron Banner arms if I can find 2 regulars to PvP with. . Nothing for my warlock, but I just hit 27 on him.
I hate farming materials, so I'm pretty excited about the implication that bungie is working on fixing that problem.

While I'm still pissed about all the bugs in the raid and especially the serious lack of content at release and the crap RNG system, I'm still enjoying the hell out of the game. As I said before, a lot of that enjoyment comes from an awesome group of people from Rerolled. I don't think I'd still be playing if it wasn't for the regulars from this board.

Hopefully Bungie will redeem themselves by picking up the pace on communication with the playerbase about complaints and quickly fixing them. I'd like to see a reason for the people that have lost interest to start coming back (I'm looking at you, DaCat & LostVirtue, ya bitches).

Hit 30 on my Alt (Warlock), could have done so 10 days ago but just having issues wanting to login lately.

DLC content better not be beatable in one-two days, the way Bungie has been releasing updates it seriously feels like they moved 95% of the team onto Destiny two and left an update team on one or two to update on Destiny 1.

After hours of farming materials, my Titan is now level 27. Hopefully I can get into a last minute VOG Normal run tomorrow.

On a side note, now that my Aetheon's Epilogue is leveled up, I'm liking it a lot more. It hits fairly hard for a storm bolter and with the recoil upgrades, it's pretty steady now.

I have the feeling that during IB I'm going to get raped over and over going up against premade groups.

I can't wait for it. Guess I'll try and get the mats I need tonight to max out dmg on weapons I only use in pvp (shadow price and found verdict).

Ya, I already maxed out Suros and Hezen. Going with Hezen instead of tracking launcher because ammo pack gives 4 rockets for it and 3 in the tube can be pretty amazing if I don't suck and miss.

Will probably go with legendary sniper of some sort, probably praedyth

But I really hope they tone down the bounties for it. Last time they were pretty ridonkulous. I hate the weapon specific ones

is it true at the end of iron banner week all players rep will be reset? thats kinda cool i guess but also means i don't have much interest in grinding out if all the good stuff is at level 5, since there is almost no chance of me making it there

You will be.

3 of us were messing around last night with some 3 vs 3 skirmishes and we dominated almost every match. The ability to communicate and coordinate with your team mates is a huge advantage. PUGs will have a rough go of it during this event.

Oh ya, I was more questioning the frequency of going up against premades

Er, rep being reset would be dumb, I don't want to grind PVP like that. Hell I haven't even finished the 10k points for the gay pulse rifle that will be taking up a bank slot.

Also, why do other people's fusion rifles one shot me and mine doesn't even knock off their shield? It's a rep legendary I got from nightfall or something but I didn't spend energy on it. Do upgrades even do anything in PVP outside of IB?

Mostly I just use VOC the entire time and rack up headshot points. I should probably bother to swap to void spec for the free kills.

What a joke, basically not a single thing people have been asking for. Out of the dozens of legitimate issues, the only thing they actually put in is voice chat.

No wait, people were totally hung up on the fucking icons for materials. Their efforts are so misguided it would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic.

There has not been a single actual improvement to this game since launch

Going from 5 to 10 bounty inventory slots is a positive and putting in voice chat for match making was a huge request from the community.

A couple more patches like this and we might officially be out of beta!
