Code Name comet is rumored to come out in September/October. It has 0 competition, I expect another huge amount of sales.
How little you have learned about the video gaming industry ,and their customers.
Oh I know exactly what it is my little gruntling. It is the remainder of the cut content of the original game to try and piecemeal the story back together. It was cut to begin with because Activision wants this game on a yearly rotating scale like COD is, and they couldn't catch up with development in time to launch all the content for the next title to meet that yearly deadline. The 3rd is already in the works for September of 2016 by a split-off team from Bungie, and then it will be on a yearly rotation with 2 year dev-cycles if this garbage actually sells. Every year you will be treated to two shit add ons such as what you have now, then a new retail game at $59. This is still on the same planets because it was neutered and was on schedule to ship with the original game. Now it's being resold in a brand new retail packaging.
2016's release will see Jupiter, Saturn, and the moon Titan. At least that will be new content, although still shit, because the mission design will not change.
So... Here is your new pay schedule if you plan to keep playing a game you already paid for 4 times over by the time you get it.
Every September, $59.99.
Want the 2 DLC packs with the "Season pass"? $30.
Get ready for $89/year. And that "full game launch" (For September 2015) only consists of 12 story missions on the same planets, 4 strikes, 3 PVP maps, and 1 raid. Oh gee, how similar to the first title. All just as sporadic in it's story telling as the original, because it's piece-mealed back together.
You are paying $149.98 for the (Original launch, 2 DLC's and the next retail launch) Destiny that you should have had for the original $59.99.
Pretty fantastic isn't it?
A whole new level of bar lowering that makes Randy Pitchford even cry for the industry a little bit.
