Haven't played in over a week, and no desire to keep playing - more strikes/raids wouldn't change that either (at least in my case). I remember a year or so ago when it was said that this would be a FPS WOW in space, and I was sick at the thought of it. Oh what a fool I was - that would be infinitely better than what they released.

Used it with my buddy to make pulling him to the edge easier. He won't just follow you off the edge, you have to have some way to keep nudging him.

So im wearing that ugly million million shader and using iron banner emblem and im not getting credit for the quest that require me to wear shader and emblem? Or is it the next tier of both that count? either way its pretty annoying.

you have to wear shader, emblem, AND class item which you only can buy at rank 2. so u are fucked. its pretty stupid since there are only 3 ranks of iron (no rank 4) so ... yeah

just duo'd atheon on normal and hard on my titan (already did lock), so yay thats two chars that have cleared destiny now and i have no idea what the mechanics of VoG are! woo! only bummer is not getting any vex mythoclasts, that woulda been badass. trying to get him to follow off the ledge is almost impossible solo, as you say he won't really move once you jump off you have to have someone grenade him off and if you are doing that may as well grenade him off all the way. but yeah striker titan with the two grenade exotic chest and middle grenade that pulses works just as good as warlock.

i'd also solo atheon hard at 28, at 27 i was getting 1 shot a ton of times just moving him into place. had to burn some shards to move to 28.

VoG overall is not the worst designed raid I have ever played. You should play the whole thing through on normal at least once.

Hard mode Atheon is not the worst, that no death achievement is the hardest thing in the game which is sad that just not dying ever for an hour is their ultimate difficulty.

With their brilliant "no matchmaking" policy for the raid, I really dont understand how they expect a majority of the players to make use of their raid. Sure, some people have friendlists a kilometer long, but some of us are just starting to get into console gaming and finding 5 other people who can play when you can (hello RL with work, kids, family and so on) is just unforgiving. If it was on PC it would not be an issue for me since I can summon the hordes from the last 10 or so MMOs we have played since the end of the 90s, but somehow most of them refuse to get a console.

Do we have any euro players here who kick around in Destiny euro evenings who wanna give the raid a try?

yeah i pugged normal once, but don't really know any of the mechanics it was just shoot shit, dont step in green pools, follow the leader kinda thing. as a lock i just killed shit outside on gate/atheon, didn't go into the portals. we also cheesed the templar boss by jumping onto the side floating island and sniper'ing him with icebreakers

the no death achieve seems so pointless since you can restart the raid anytime you wipe. good ol 'wow, my wrath guild broke up because my guild leader couldn't do the heigan dance and would make us fail undying every week

Been lurking for a few years..

Beat hard mode today! Vex fully auto primary fusion rifle(fun in pvp), helmet and ship, I officially have nothing else to do in the game besides level those items up. I guess I could run it again next week in hopes of an epic sparrow... yawn.

If anyone needs help on ps4 will be running easy mode vault twice on Tuesday, could probably take a few of you. PM me PSN names.

Looking to get into a raid today if anyone is clowning around in there. Lexicon929 on psn. All my VoG time has been with randoms from /fireteams and it would be nice to not carry fucking retards through it. I know how to jump on pillars and kill stuff, I will be on most of the day. I don't care if we "exploit" stuff

WTB 2 rare fusion rifles - paying 25k for both. (Going on two fucking weeks now with this bullshit bounty. Every time the gunsmith sells them I'm fucking sleeping)

There'sDestiny LFGtoo, which seems to get more traffic (or at least there's always more listings when I'm looking for VoG) than .com.

I got so many fusion rifles doing the Nexus strike 25 times that I didn't even need the ones I'd been saving up and never had to buy a single one off the vendor. Not sure if they are actually more common from lower level strikes or not but Nexus is by far the fastest one to speed run through.

Yep, pretty much killed the game for me. I'd keep playing if I could queue up for everything in the game instead of having to findexploits to solo shit. So dumb.
