mediocre remasters of Lara Croft and Legacy of Kain, no reason to expect better here. Embracer Group just desperate to milk whatever they can out of their IP library as they slowly circle the drain.
I mean, you aren't wrong, but at the same time even if the graphic overhaul sucks the game itself could be good.
True, guess I see your point but can you still play the OG game on current pcs? I admit I haven't thought about the game in a long time, but it was awesome.
I feel like I might as well bring up the PS2 version that has been recently released on PS5, it's surprisingly different, better in some ways, worse in some ways. I think the level design actually looks better in the PS2 version, lighting was a lot brighter, and the scaling made locations look more realistic. I think it had higher resolution models but lower resolution textures so a lot of things would look better further away. There's tons of changes if you really want to get into it, kinda crazy how muck work they did changing the game even though it's basically the same when you get down to the story and everything.
