I understand how 300th Spear is "build changing" but how exactly is Thing of the Deep the same?

Ah ok. Never made that connection. Though WD is by far my least understood class.

Pretty sure an item that let's you cast 3 sentries at once and a lvl63 cluckeye would make me play my DH again.

What confuses me is they say they want to increase the overall "wow" factor of legendaries but then also imply that they'll let all legendaries drop. So they'd almost have to increase the rate at which legendaries drop to compensate for the fact you probably won't be getting a mempo or ice walkers or other similar BiS legendaries that will still remain.

The best change was lowering the range rares can roll and lowering their drop rate. That alone would be a god send.

Identify all feature coming in 1.08.....................thankyou. Jesus I cannot beleive that took this long. The subject about less frquent rare drops was nice. How about getting rid of White and blue drops all toegther......PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Circle of Life is also affect by radius and is pretty cool when combined with sacrifice.

I thought that blog post was pretty useless. Other than identify all, did he really say anything? All he seemed to do was re-iterate the complaints that have been posted 1000 times already.

Yeah there won't be alot in 1.08, but I'm happy they are at least acknowledging and working on the issues instead of saying "fuck it let's wait for the expansion".

how much str on rings/ammys/shoulders etc should i aim for?

i kinda wanna try that mp10 white mob farming, i have about 45mill left to play with to min/max this new barb

this is my profile atm, im using the EF with no socket, but has life steal, i have one with a socket /str but no LL, seems to help alot.

but what should i really try to get the most bang for my buck, with the 40 or so mill i got left, im thinking rings and a mainhand.

its easily the most fun ive had... per gear investment i spent over 100mill on my WD (was right after legs got buffed so i paid out the nose) but the maybe like 5-8mill i spent on the barb so far if that has brought me more enjoyment.

Step 2: your crit chance is too low. At the 7.5 tic bp you want at least 25% cc to maintain wotb. Wotb is the single biggest damage increase in the build, you want this to be up as close to 100% of the time as possible.

Even though I use tals chest I wouldn't recommend it, especially when you are trying to hit the 7.5 bp which should only require two slots of ias.

Main hand needs a high damage range. Make it in the 600 to 1250 range. Dps doesn't matter compared to the raw damage. Echoing fury goes in the offhand as a stat stick, a main hand ef costs at least a billion.

My crit when i get going is like 42% i thought that was alright, thats why i figured id ask what slot needed the biggest up for the best dmg increase, its probably rings, also the more i crit the more fury i gain is that how keeping wotb up works? sorry barb is my least played.


i switched out the tals chest for ik, as tenks advised and ik boots, what two items do i need for IAS i have lacunis, but not sure what else to grab.

so i want my mainhand to be at least 1100top end dps? with what kinda stats, because at that high dmg even just a socket might be crazy expensive.

and how much LL am i aiming for, right now with my current gear at MP0 with only my belt for LL sometimes i find myself getting in bad spots even dying, so im assuming i need to get it on my mainhand, because socket/LL EF is 20mill, ive seen some barbs with only 3% so i figured id be alright.

When i go for new rings/ammy how much str should i aim for.

You need to generate at least 25 fury per second to sustain wotb, if your fury ball is full it doesn't count so if you hit a big pack and you are generating a ton of fury spam battle rage to dump fury.

You want your base cc to between 25 to 30% and be hitting the 7.5 bp to make it pretty easy to keep it up. Your ef has to low aps, you want at least +.24.

1100 dps with a socket can be had for less than 3 million, prices go insane when you add str, ll, and or cd. With bloodthirst and ik belt you should be good on sustain with a decent gear set.

whats the 7.5 bp? i only have 1 piece that gives AS atm and its the lacunis, what should i get for the second?

Is there a way to filter out APS on the EF? and also you use brawler over bloodthirst why is that, you only have 3% LL from the belt as i do, is it because your HP is so much higher/dmg? My hp is so low im gonna have to figur out where to beef it up.

also you seem to be piece mail do you not need the extra fury from the ik set? i found it helped alot keeping sprint up.

7.5 bp is when your ww and run like the wind will hit 7.5 each second. Use d3rawr to find out where you land on this when fully buffed. I really can't stress how essential using this website is to optimizing your ww barb.

No way to filter aps on the ef. I normally use bloodthirst, I'm only using brawler because lately all I've been doing is farming crypt of the ancients in act 1 at mp10 over and over again. Because this area has a very high mob density brawler is active for most of the run. I can get away with 1 slot of ll because my damage is so high, plus I have an additional around +1300 life on hit.

Full ik set is great when you are starting out but other pieces will give you much better results, keeping 2 pieces for the set bonus is a good idea. Fully buffed I have 74.5% crit chance and my tornadoes tick 8.57 times a second so fury generation isn't really a big issue.

Traditional ehp slots are boots, belt, chest, shoulders and possibly pants. If you can help it don't go my route and get ehp on damage slots like your jewelry or your weapons, you'll end up getting into a corner that is very pricey to gear out of. I wouldn't suggest that anyone use my barb as an example on how to gear, as in an endgame set at best my offhand, amulet, shoulders and gloves are the only things worth really keeping.

I just reinstalled this yesterday after reading this thread a bit. I have a 60 demon hunter and was wondering what is the best Inferno build?
I'm in Act II in Inferno and just get my ass handed to me literally every step I take. Not sure if it's gear related or build related or both.
I remember spending a metric asston of gold at one point to get some kick ass gear...which probably isn't kick ass a year later.

When was the last time you played? Inferno got ridiculously easy after patch 1.04 maybe? I came back about 6 weeks ago after not playing since the beginning of July and was also stuck on Act 2 Inferno at that point. It took me like 2 hours to finish Act 2 and beat the game when I came back.

It should be much, much easier for you now.
