Selig enables the no life, immortal barb build. Doombringer, not sure.

Yeah. I have a selig now. Debating re-rolling all my gear to create a low life build. That’s a lot of fucking work though.

I switched to Selig build by both using new gear coming in, rerolling a few items, and having a second neck, fully rolled well in cube. I had a ton of the mats for reforging rerolls (reroll every item until it became a star) and decent amount of neck transfigure tokens to get good second aspect on 3 of 4 different necks. Still, I rarely locked items with transfiguration, so I could switch builds and fill in items if needed.

After playing it for 3 or 4 hours, I didn't find the full Selig build better than the traditional WW with Grandfather and Starless Skies, in that shit would one shot me more using Selig. It's possible I was doing something wrong or mixed up some key aspect, I guess, so YMMV.

Selig shouldn't be getting one shot at all once you have a decent setup. If you're going to do a selig build, though, i'd probably work on rolling the pieces and stashing them til you have a full decent set while still using your other gear, since you need the whole set to synergize for it.

Did my t12 lillith the other day with my legendary bracers, guess having the damage increase from the last time I tried was all it took since she didn't do basically anything even though I wasn't actually 1shotting her phases still. Did a dozen seers reach this morning to finally make a horadric gem. Only things I have left now are grinding 15k aethers, flawless horadric gem and 7 nightmare dungeons. The nightmare dungeons would be easy enough to finish but I don't think I care enough to grind out a dozen 10wave infernal hordes or 800 more runs of seers reach just for the sake of completing the season tasks. Also only at level 6 war plans for undercity, infernal hordes and lair bosses.

They really need to make war plans account wide. By the time you start maxing them out to get all the cool perks, your character is already geared so it basically just turns in to achievement grinding with no useful purpose, and it's a massive disincentive to making alts because you just get to go back to grinding less rewarding content.

I did ultimate nemesis lair on t12 and that felt really awesome. Wasn't hard for me at all. But fighting azmodan, duriel, and andariel all at once was awesome. Took 4 trips to the town to collect all the gear.

The lunatic build is really strong but I feel I need a lot more damage to really push anything crazy like Lilith or mephisto.

Still grinding at 205 paragon but I might roll another toon now to try something different for a bit.

Yeah. Seemed that selig was aimed at high tier pits which has never been something I could stick out. I’m still not fully phasing bosses so I have some room to grow. Think I’m at paragon 209. Upshot is I’m starting to roll the gear I need for selig but I also doubt I have the wherewithal to do it. I see it only benefiting me in Lilith and Mephisto t12. Not sure I care enough to do those.

Though I guess that’s the only route to a mythic seal?

Last I looked, early in the season, seals were reportedly dropping from any bosses that can drop other mythics. Not sure how long I spent in T10 or higher with "boosted" seal drop rate (from level ~200 to 240 paragon, probably), but I never had one drop.

I may have missed something in the build wrong or it just caught me being lazy and not smashing all the buttons. The times I remember getting 1 shot was from electric elites when farming T12 Sear's Rest and trying to do T12 Lillith for seasons journey (ended up doing map level 7 instead). There were times I was not at full resources when lazily spinning through the zone, so that was an issue too. It was also pretty early in the season on a Maxroll build, so it may not have been the "best" version of the build.

For some reason I always start losing interest toward the end of season journey

Nah. The orange undercity talisman tributes can give them, treasure goblins can drop them (I had some random goblin drop a 2nd for me). Bartuc is supposed to be able to drop them (infernal hordes), not sure if it's bartuc himself or if it's the talisman box that you can get with warplans, maybe both. Possibly other places.

I went straight to selig build when I switched from warlock to barb since I had enough stuff to craft starter pieces for every slot at least, so not sure how it compares to the life versions.

One thing to look out for is when they say no life, they literally mean no +max life at all. When I first started it, I was having issues with damage taken at times and it went away when I switched out a unique with a max life affix.

I still haven’t seen a Tibault’s or Endurant Faith. I did find a unique Tibault charm. I eventually swapped to a Ring of Starless skies and grabbed regen where I could. It’s a little rough if I die though getting my fury back up. Sustain is fine.

Tibaults are rare. I got one by cubing whites to uniques. You can also cube down yellows and blues to whites by removing affixes.

Been my strategy actually. Just rare as you say. I’ve got one charm I’ve been trying to role + martial on for a week. Rng is rng unfortunately.

I guess you get a better chance at Tibaults if you set difficulty off of Torment. Might be old wive's tale.

I found ONE in regular farming of bosses.
