Mad pussy. When he was young he had an INCREDIBLE voice. By the time he was 40 it had gone to shit but he still had an impeccable sense of style and good taste. And he was a made man by that point anyway. You know how much pussy The Beatles pulled? Sinatra pulled more, and he didn't have to split it four ways.

It wasn't just Sinatra himself though. He was just half of it. It was Nelson Riddle. The combination of those two -- BAM.

Overplayed and all that, yes. Totally agree.

Objectively excellent? Not that it's possible but no, dude. Even in his prime he would sound off sometimes.

Another element that sort of bugs me is that he wrote very little of "his music.". So excellent or not, is it really his? If you called them his "songs," I might not nitpick.

Seriously though, no one's taste in music is right or wrong. We all feel differently about music for different reasons.
