Not sure I'm going to take one for the team and watch this first this time. Anyone got a review for it yet, because it doesn't look good and I don't find Rob Riggle funny at all.

I'm going to try to watch it this evening if I get a chance, and will report back. I mean it's a giant spider movie, it can't be that bad!

Hollywood: Hold my beer!
Hey I remember seeing eight legged freaks with David arquette back in the theater in college. It was kind of a fun movie.

That French spider horror movie infested was pretty good too. Think there was even a US remake of some sort which I haven't seen.

I really like both of those. Even has jailbait Scarlet Johannsen before she got famous. It's a very fun movie. This and Arachnophobia are my go to fun spider movies.

Infested is a really good spider horror movie.

I think I've only got about 35 minutes left but I watched I guess the first hour last night. It's pretty bad but also hilarious. The first 5 minutes are comedy gold setting up the backstory of our female protagonist . The preacher's coal burner daughter has a nice rack, and the magician grandparents and the kid have some pretty goofy lines, especially the grandpa. Oh, the preacher is like a Temu Littlefinger.

Don't pay money for this. Guess I'll get to the spider attacks this evening, and I'm banking on some more hilarity.

I may be right around where you stopped. First spider action isn’t until almost an hour in, the entire time before just setup, very bad acting, and bad writing. It’s almost charming but not quite enough to be bad-good. There are better examples of this (I don’t know, Tucker and Dale come to mind maybe?). Will finish it off this evening.

I've got a soft spot for Big Ass Spider. Something about that movie just works for me. Including the Mexican sidekick guy.

I have to watch spider movies in private. If the wife catches the faintest whiff of anything spider related... her nightmares will keep me up for a fucking month.
