I skipped Eternal because of the forced melee "gameplay loop" and it looks like I'm skipping this one too. Why the fuck would I want to be forced into melee for a fucking Doom game? Whoever thought that was a good idea is a monstrous retard.

I liked Eternal, the gameplay was pretty great and challenging on higher difficulty. Very fast paced flying all over the place trying to stay alive, and it ran flawlessly. I also liked the story it told and how it fleshed out the story more.

I'm waiting a bit on this one because I don't have time right now, but I hope it's good.

if you have to pause the game to give tooltips and tutorials to the player in a Doom game. you should all be fired, and never work in the game industry again.

who thought Doom needed cutscenes, forced cinematics, more characters. more characters, lore. more lore. more cutscenes..

this giant robot tutorial/gameplay is insanely boring.


why do the devs think players want or need a visual que when dashing? retarded motion blur lines adding to visual clutter? its obnoxious.

Picked this up to blow off some steam this weekend. Not super excited for this, but it's got the saving grace of probably not being a big time commitment. Hopefully it's in the 10-12 hour range like the other two.

Doesn't this have a medieval setting (Dark Ages)? Not surprised the weapons are more melee/primitive.

It is some space planet setting that is sort of medieval but has guns and giant robots. The closest comparison would probably be Warhammer 40k.
