Yeah, maybe they can actually start cranking these games out now that they never need to upgrade the graphics engine ever again. They can optimize their content generation tools/pipeline and actually start cranking out a game every 2 years or so.

Is there anything worthwhile to buy with gold in this game? If so, where?? I'm sitting on like 11K and I've only just opened up Skyhold. I'm tempted to buy the 10K box in VR just so I can say I bought something.

A bit later on, you can get a vendor to come to Skyhold that sells contracts with merchants. Those basically give you reputation for the inquisition, and there's A TON of them to buy, so you can dump all excess money into them and get some inquisition perks for it. There's also high level schematics to buy, a bunch of them and they're pretty costly. I wouldn't spend gold on stupid shit unless you really want it.

Is there something that can be done about the loot radius in this game? It is my biggest complaint, you have to practically get right on top of the bodies.

Also why do the rams run away at warp speed and through rocks and walls. Never had so much trouble collecting bear asses before.

They're defenseless but they're fast. They're worth minor amounts of experience and give materials. They're not supposed to be trivial to slaughter, otherwise you would just murder every one you see.

It's supposed to be like hunting I guess. Sometimes you're chasing after something and run into something, like an actual fucking bear. The first bear I fought in Hinterlands on nightmare was a fucking raid boss in it's own right, because I was 3 levels below it.

Cool. Thanks a lot for the answer. I'll keep saving my shit so I can buy some perks and schematics.

Any sales on this yet, like to pick it up for 40$?
Step 1: Download Hola for Chrome. Step 2: Select Mexico server. Step 3: Go to Origin, find DA:I, add to cart, proceed to payment. Step 4: Remove Hola if your payment doesn't go through(like paypal or what not), should still be in basket so you can pay that way instead. Game's 40$ without any promotion and has been since launch basically.

Is the digital deluxe version worth it at all?
Nah, the weapons and schematics aren't particularly good. You get a free mount anyway, and the mount doesn't look that great either imo.

I do have a framed map of Thedas on my wall now from the CE prima guide though!

I got my PS4 copy for $35 from Newegg. Kind of a roundabout way that only works if you have other stuff you plan to buy anyways, but here is how:

Using Visa Checkout NAFVC25 promo code gives you $25 off $200+. My wife was ordering about $150 worth of Christmas gifts so I added DA:I for $60 to push the cart total to over 200. Free shipping, no tax for my state, and the promo code cut my actual cost for the game to $35. Can't beat that!

At level 10 can finally easily handle the lvl 12 rifts; those greater terrors were fucking brutal at low lvls vs lvl 12's. I switched to Cass as sword/board tank, my main (mage) full fire build, Solars full barrier build with some ice, and then Blackwall (mainly because I have a tier 2 dwarf only helm schematic) and use him as a 2Hander.

I miss some of the long range cc but 2H is doing solid damage and helps keeps enemies together with him and cass, then my main blows the fuck out of them with fire AE (fire mine does some insane damage).

Just about to go do the 1 power mission that is the big battle; assuming I have to be close to getting a keep? Right now my biggest bitch is 80% of all my blue/purple drops have been rogue only and I don't use a rogue.....

If you mean getting a keep for inquisition perks keep requirements, it's not tied to story, there's keeps in certain zones and you clear them out to get them. I think the one you can get the earliest is in Crestwood.

Finally killed the hinterlands dragon at level 19 lol, kinda forgot about it.
Still had a better level 15 staff than anything I had at 19.

It really is. It's just so fucking big, and unlike Skyrim where I didn't care about the plots and the encounters were fucking jokes, this game actually has some fairly decent fights and I give a shit about most of the stuff that's going on.

Yea, I was really hoping the civil war in Skyrim would have been so involved and impactful, but it basically didn't even matter.

I'm liking this game a lot, but I think they should have just gone full turn-based with the tactical view. I don't bother with it because I can't organize time properly.

Tactical zoom won't zoom out nearly enough. Combat is a little too fast. The way ALL your character's melee attacks, even autoattacks, override your movement controls/animations is pretty bad. But beyond a few gripes with combat flow, I'm having a hard time finding anything that isn't great.

Crafting is really well done. Finding a good schematic is a huge boost and very exciting. Crafting lets you make some OP shit but you actually need it on nightmare, unlike Skyrim where it just trivializes everything.

The game is a little stingy on usable blue items.
