Finally got around to trying this. Actually not bad. Technically it is quite good. The engine, art, UI, etc. are all proficiently done.
It is not too far off from Dragon Age Inquisition where you have a central hub, do missions, upgrade companions, etc. The combat is definitely better and more responsive than Inquistion. But not quite a souls-like game.
This tech team but with vastly better writing and art direction could have made something on par with BG3. TBH it is technically better than BG3 engine, but characters, writing, etc. vastly inferior.
Anyway, worth it on deep sale.
