Stream up atm of some devs playing, happened to click in and see what was going on and saw this :
Apparently a mining buggy. Either 1 person can drive and then switch to the laser on top to mine ore, or 2 people with one driving and one manning the laser. I do wish the switch to laser and driver was 1 quick button, so easier with 1 person, but it showed you had to go through the pop up circcular UI hud and select your option.
Wish I had got a SS of some of the bases built on the beta server. Some of them were awesome and massive.

I'm probably at about 40 hours of game time in the beta, with half of that just building.
This game is janky fun. Arrakis is neat and the scale is awesome - seeing the worm for the first time is pretty neat. I think this game will do really well with all the Dune + survival buzz, despite the shit combat and jank.

Fun game, these survival games just grab me so easily. Put almost 8 hours today, without realizing it. About in line with what I was expecting.
No crashes, no real bugs yet for me. But again its only open to the 2nd zone, which I just entered.
I fully expect this to be like conan exlies, where I put in close to ~200 hours before just hitting a wall. Which seems pretty normal for survival games, as you just get to a point where you did everything and got everything. Not sure how they expect this to be different, sure you can pvp and the desert gets wiped weekly, but once you have built it all and gotten everything, there just isnt anymore carrot.
Only thing is just more maps, expanding content and the story, which is things people come back for not play forever until they show up. As they take time to create.
