Dune: Part Three

It's not like Paul and Chani's relationship is amazing in the books, honestly. In the books she doesn't seem to bat an eye at Paul's jihad and messianic war on the universe, and ultimately dies in childbirth due to Irulan's meddling/scheming.

It's possible the movies go for Paul's prescience trying to prevent this fate by having him basically push her away, but at the cost of making her an enemy.

That said, it was never going to have the devoted dictator wife trope in 2026, especially not when they cast Zendaya in that part in the first place.

I'm just gonna watch it for the visuals, the sound effects and the epic battles, I don't really care if it follows the Dune lore closely, it's just an adaptation, there's been others and there'll be more I'm sure.

You think that's what it will be, that teaser makes it look like way more. What I was getting at was it looked like a Zendaya movie that just happens to have Paul in it. Hopefully they still show the ghoula(sp? been a min since I read it ) wake up.

I'd be shocked if they didnt go that way with Hayt.

I'll be interested to see how they approach Irulan's shift from conspirator to devotee. There's a lot to cover in this one and that's a pretty important piece
