I think 2,3,5 and 7 were all great. I think it's been spelled out pretty clearly what Agatha is, I don't remember what part of book 7 had her info, maybe you're not there yet. I'm not including 1 in the top tier because I thought the writing wasn't great in it, the ideas and characters were though.

I just wrapped up 6 last night and pretty sure it was the Epilogue that included the back story of Agatha and the Residuals. There may yet be more in Book 7 that I haven't started yet but that was definitely the first concrete piece of confirmation regarding her.

Book 6 was fine; I just continue to find them somewhat dragging and worn out by the end. The early books / floors were very focused on the floor mechanics and whatnot and it felt like starting with (at least) floor 5 it all just becomes muddled. I mean the whole conceit of Ghosts of Earth's Past and the way it all worked coupled with the Magic-lite TCG layered on top and then the AI involvement rewriting rules and introducing changes... it is just all a bit much to be cohesive and tight. Part of that is at least plot related with the AI but everything else is cranked up to 11 when 8 would be good enough to follow and still be better than most fiction that is out there.

Still looking forward to book 7, just wish he'd write somewhat shorter tighter stories to move things along.

I'm no expert in the LitRPG thing but of the few series I've read they all seem to wallow in waste, both in nonsense storylines and unedited descriptions. The book I'm reading now is brutally boring, it's spending most of its time explaining how MMORPGs work. At least DCC is trying to delve into a larger storyline.

Agatha is in 7, but there's not much more revealed about her in book 7. He was talking about the book 6 epilogue.

I just read the first 2 parts of pineapple cabaret. It's pretty good and it looks like it's going to give us insight into what's going on on the lowest floors. If you've finished book 7, Remember at the end when scolopendra awakes, the AI tells everyone in the scolapendra club to run? He tells them the 16th floor is currently just an empty room with a mirror, but to get to it they have to get through "The Backstage Death Maze" that is the 17th floor. So the pineapple story seems like it's going to be about the building of the death maze.

If any of you Patreon members spoil a single thing from an unreleased book, I will petition LLL to ban you until that book is released and 6 months after.

I spoiled a couple of things for myself when I was still on book 2 or 3 because I didn't realize what I was reading. Fortunately for me, I've forgotten all but one scene.

Actually, some of the stuff wound up being in book 7. I spoiled the scene where katia told carl about her flower and I also somehow read the script for the book 7 audio only epilogue early. But there's one more scene that I remember and it haunts me.
