Ok, new book releases in 4 days. Anyone know if he is already hammering away chapters on book 9 or does he take breaks in between?

yeah it is supposedly one book that he broke into 2 parts. So I assume he is already hammering away. Since it stops at book 10 I also expect to get through multiple floors in this book. I don't think Carl is going to see all 18, but surely we're at least getting to the ascension games before we meet scolopendra too early.

We will "see" all 18 floors. We already got a floor that wasn't a floor, and with the AI shenanigans that are going on I can almost guarantee we are going to get either super time crunched floors, floors that are mixed together, or some sort of "no AI has had to design past floor 12, there aren't really 18 floors"

There are 18 completed floors. Which was the point of what happened at the end of Inevitable Ruin with Justice Light and Juice Box.
