I didn't even think about it at all really. There's like no gay sex and shit going on, and in the grand scheme of things it's really like what 1 main chapter and a few throw away plot points before it.

I don’t know what that story arc accomplished other than that the AI forced it to happen.

My critiques about the 8th book not withstanding, the series as a whole has been greatly enjoyable, there’s only a light amount of the fake and gay
