I still have no idea how he's going to pull this off. Souls stories are almost like reading ancient Greek myths. What story do you focus on? How do you make it meaningful to a movie audience?

This is because we love the default Nick Cage acting setting, which pretty much is the same for each of his low effort money grabs.

But given a director who has a vision for his performance you get Pig, Leaving Las Vegas, and Adaptation.

Another actor who's gotten stale under mediocre directors is Brad Pitt. He's reduced himself to old grizzled low talking cool guy. Here we are missing the days of 12 Monkeys, Snatch, and Burn After Reading.

Bro, I dont think that Hollywood of any age could make a good movie from a FromSoft game. I certainly don't know why they would agree with their most popular property.

Ok, so why would you want an inferior take on it? There is almost no way they can make a satisfying story out of a game whose narrative is designed to be revealed over eighty hours of gameplay. Even then it is incomplete by design.

If they had the balls to drop us into an Elden Ring story that didn't try to explain much, it might have a chance? The odds of thst happening are almost 0.
