Well, unless Bethesda issues a "the intern who runs our Twitter posted something inappropriate and inaccurate and has been fired" type statement, they just lost whatever interest I still had in Elder Scrolls 6.

Nothing was lost, Bethesda sucks now anyway.

Still have to play Skyrim, but I already bought that long ago, so...yeah, whatever.

Bethesda done been co-opted by DEI hires. No thanks. I'll stick to Asian titles. At least they still have SOME testosterone. Not full of faggots and trannies.

Most of the vocal people against these fag game companies will still buy the games.
Not me. I bought the starfield or whatever and it was the most meh game ive played in years. That was my last Bethesda purchase prolly for forever or until they make a banger game again after reviews are in.

You take that back! I think I'm the only one on the forum that enjoyed Starfield.

Your picture is spot on, pretty much retarded, lol. I had more fun playing solitare.
I don't know what it is about the game but I honestly enjoyed it. I think it was part of the ship building, the score, and a lot of the quests were pretty fun. Running around with Walter on neon was pretty hilarious and fun.

I think people shit on it more than they ought to, but whatever. I made a bunch of you guys watch gay anime or play gay anime games, and I'm not going to fault you for it.

I haven't played the new expansion or done a deep dive into mods but I would imagine it's probably a hell of a lot better now.

I honestly had a really fun time playing through it the first time.

The real problem here is you had no one around to tell you to go fishing. Make sure you phone a friend next time, k?

I'm expecting TES6 to be garbage. Do yourself a favor and go play a good wabbajack Skyrim modlist and forget they ever announced this.

I bought it when I came out and I think it was around Christmas, so the fishing was pretty bad at the time.

It's a fun game.

Congrats on coming out, btw. Starfield released on Sept 6, though.

I was super-hyped for it, bought all the swag and even got a 7900XTX to upgrade my 3080 so I could play it at a great framerate. You can read that thread and slowly watch my enthusiasm die until you get to a certain point in the story, which probably seemed smart but is really terminally stupid and broke me completely. Gunplay part was fun. Ship combat was OK. Quests were OK to terrible. Story was tragically bad. World was awful. The game plays like it was developed by a bunch of different teams and never comes together in any kind of integrated way. It feels like an "Anthem" style dev process that was never rebooted, and they spent the last 9 month delay trying to polish the turd they had, rather than realizing that the project had never come together. 10 years and hundreds of millions of dollars for nothing. Less than nothing, because a bad game is worse than no game at all, it damages every Bethesda product, past and future.

It speaks to how project/game dev methodology at Bethesda is broken. The company is broken. I wouldn't expect any of the widgets made at this particular factory to work.

ES6 has been in production for how long and what is there to show for it? One terrain fly over.

Bethesda is cooked.

Fucking stupid phone. Goddamn TtT.

Hey I agree Bethesda is probably done, but I still enjoyed the game. Why you assholes have played goofier games then it and ranted about them. Honestly think that one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much is it because it got me playing video games again, which I had really kind of taken a hiatus from.

Whatever, it's a fun game, I got my money's worth out of it. I also think MusicForFish MusicForFish romanced the gay black guy...😉

There is nothing wrong with enjoying bad things as long we acknowledge they aren't good; I have this conversation with people about music and movies all the time. I like any number of bad things. When I was 15 I loved the movie "Lifeforce": A lot of that had to do with Mathilda May walking around in it naked most of the time but its based on a book called "The Space Vampires" and had almost every great British actor in it who was accepting a paycheck in the early 80's. Patrick Stewart! It like early 80's horror Harry Potter in that regard. But I know its not a "good" movie despite my affection for it.

It's people who argue their affection for something changes the quality of it in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary that make discussion of some of these franchises so difficult in this era.

Dude, life force is one of the greatest b movies ever. Probably Steve Railsback's greatest performance apart from his Ed Gein movie. It has one of the greatest scores ever from Henry Mancini, and when you watched that movie as a kid, it was mind-blowing. But also helped that Italian chick was naked throughout the whole thing and she was totally a smoke show.

I mean it was Toby Hooper's greatest film.

I'll play this on my god damn phone out loud when I walk my dogs that way people know I mean business. The wife just gets annoyed, but my weiner dog loves it.

Mathilda May is French; I celebrate her whole body of work or at least her body. She still looks good at 60, or at least French good.

Mancini Soundtrack is amazing. You can see what they are going for, alien invasion/gothic vampire/zombie/horror/suspense-thriller/love story and it just is too much in the genre blender with 1985 special effects to have the impact it should have. This would have a great premiere TV series in 2010's. when audiences were more accepting of cross genre mixing and special effects were able to keep up. Tobe Hooper did a good job with what he had to work in 1985.
