It’s going to sell enough to fund them for at least a couple more games before they go the BioWere route.

All these A.I. mashups. I wonder if someone could use A.I. to add a realtime campaign map to Starfield, ala starsector/Mount and blade, to fix core problem of a total lack of connectivity, and exploration?

I mean, I would be satisfied I guess if they make something at least as good as Skyrim. Which was still the worst between it, Morrowind, and Oblivion. Despite all of its financial success.

But in the 2020s? Who are we kidding? It's going to be some slop.

Jesus I can't believe Bethesda thinks anyone gives a shit about the title to go through all this effort - who gives a flying fuck.

The people that take large parts of the budget claiming that "storytelling and marketing" are more important then the game itself.

The creative/marketing sector can't die fast enough. Somehow I'm reminded of HR, which can also rot in a ditch.

And it won't even be released in the 2020's lol.

Lore nerds will glean the setting of the game potentially. I’ve already seen posts saying this means the game may take place in Hammerfell

I mean ya it’s obvious in that respect, but it’s a cheap way for Bethesda to drum up anticipation without actually revealing any game details

It’s the only unexplored place left + there’s a blackout on Hammerfell content in eso and the elder scrolls board game. People have assumed it’s going to be Hammerfell for years

We probably have a long wait still, but here's this for when the game comes out.

Man it's so hard to believe these games were so good I built a brand spanking new PC in 2011 to play Skyrim, now I don't care. When/if it ever comes out, I'll check here to see if it's even worth looking at.

EDIT : oops forgot, I found the PC in question here is a pic.
Intel i7-2600K (oc'd to fuck)
Dual Radeon HD6970 cards in crossfire
top o' the fuckin' world Ma!

god damn. that is one thing I noticed myself. with the Sentinel name, it being on the Sea. And High rock having bent he initial tease. we are probably getting both High Rock, and Hammerfell. And, given the sea... boats.
Maybe when TES6 comes out I'll have forgotten how much I hate the boating mechanics in Valheim (What I'm playing now)

I don't have the least bit of excitement for this. My confidence they can pull off something awesome is practically zero. Which is a shame because I really enjoyed the TES series.

The fact they took all this time and all they gave us really was the name is just icing on the cake.
