I wonder how much will be added to the old areas. and exactly how much player interaction/voxels there will be. the destruction/water flow could be just a preset.

I will say again, due to the games linearity, multiple playthroughs probably won't be as fun as some other survival games, or open world games like skyrim/oblivion.
But overall the game itself is a big recommend to buy.

I bought this and never played it. I know some peeps with a private server I don’t feel like joining a server where al the quests and stuff are done already.

can I play alone until I catch up then join another server? Or is it one character one server

This is a game I really want to be "finished" before buying and starting. I played one of the early betas and it had great potential, but I didn't want to hop into it while it was half baked. They've made some good changes from what I've seen, but I'm really interested in their "end game" and it seemed like in this update they were supposed to have wave defense events so I think that might be enough or at least a very good start.

I'll probably still wait for 1.0 if it's just Spring 2026. Definitely one of the very few games I'm looking forward to, though.

I got this when it went into early access and played maybe 5-10 hoirs or so, too lazy to check steam, and really liked what I saw but it had some issues.

I haven’t played since, I think it’s going to be a great game and I’m interested in getting the full experience. I’m afraid I’d burn out before release and end up not playing the best version of the game.

I can’t wait for it to finally release.

iirc you can select any char for any game, so you can do the quests locally and then later join their server with that char.
