So Cleric is basically the GW2 Guardian Minus 6 usable weapons?

I like what they are saying about skill based classes. Be curious to see how it works out.

Thats way toned down from EQ2 - Particles were more present than your normal surroundings.

The idea of going to Kithicor and picking a side to earn another class is pretty cool. Definitely far more exciting to me than "ZOMG! smash everything!"

Well Michael Mann being the lead for class design and development is fucking awesome even if it looks a touch Disney.

The falling through the ground was pretty cool.

Ability interaction with terrain. Ice blast spell freezing people standing on ice was the example used, pretty neat stuff. Ice that's enemies were standing on was also created by elementalist. Terrain based spells seems like it will have some cool possibilities for druids and such.

Hah the combat looks super sweet

Having your Tour Guide book tell you that there's trouble brewing in the nearby Kithicor forest and that through "a series of adventures" you'll eventually be given the Elementalist class reads to me as: the Kitchicor quest hub.

Was hoping the animations would have improved in a year. Everything looks choppy as fuck.
