For me, its simple... go back to playing on Teek.Whats your plan when you hit max level and no longer need xp?

This is precisely why I am not giving up on my three box crew on Teek. With personas, free trade, and random loot available on that server, I have endless content to enjoy for many years to come, and I can do it at my pace on my schedule. I don't have to be on some raid guild's schedule because I can buy the gear I need from the bazaar and since its random loot rules, there's more than enough top tier gear to go around which keeps the prices low.Raid a few hours a week, then I dont know, play another game/server/hobby, spend time with family, hell if you refuse to do anything other then dump all your time into a single server at a time, like a weirdo, you can level up 10 alts or personas for the legacy system, or even farm plat.
Why do so many people want a tlp to require more of there time, just have patience, do other stuff, come back to it later when there are aa to grind
They really should make it a built in thing in the game to tell you where and what the bonuses are each day. If I had known where the bonuses were, I might have taken the time to have gone there.Yeah day 1 had Qeynos Hills, lavastorm and feerrott. yesterday had Paludal (cat side starts at lvl 5). I get not seeing tons of newbies on newbie hill is pretty whack but these resource hunter spots are just spreading everybody out a lot, specially with the ability to abuse getting around with personas and Nexus being open
And... just like that, now I know where to go find out where and what the bonuses are each time I play.
This is actually a pretty interesting idea. I'm now intrigued to see what Grok can give me if I ask for a PDF of class by class best in slot gear per each expansion.Got ChatGPT to compile complete list for every Shaman spell in Original,Kunark,Velious and Luclin in a single list.
More focused on Ogre Shaman, so lower spells listed is in Oggok and for not avail, in Cabilis.
O K V L is expansion spells, Q D R is quest drop research.
Hope it saves some running around and checking websites for spells and where.
It definitely has a long way to go yet, but its getting crazy good really fast. I wouldn't count it out just because of previous results. You might be surprised even on a month by month basis going forward.ai is a dirty liar when it comes to eq
even with very specific questions, it will just make stuff up halfway through your conversation with it
i once asked for summaries of some books, looking for sparknotes style rundowns, until something seemed fishy and i looked up the real sparknotes. the asshole ai had made up chapter names, characters, plot points - everything

I was leveling at the same time, orc chill and crushbone were full, even to the point of multiple /pickzones, this seems like some kind of user error
First 2 days population peak for each server

Sounds like Pharone was in an empty pick and didn't switch to a better one.
If anything, I'm surprised Oakwynd did so well. Would have expected it to be down closer to Fangbreaker territory. It wasn't preceded by a Teek that seemed to make people pretty happy, though.
I asked Grok to give me a condensed version of a prompt you could use in any AI to get a similar response. So, it didn't do a great job of it and it didn't do every item I asked it to do, but this is honestly kinda cool. I asked Grok to create a Fangbreaker server guide basically.
Attached is what I got.
Create a LaTeX document that compiles into a PDF book about the Fangbreaker Time-Locked Progression (TLP) server in EverQuest, launched May 28, 2025. Use the book document class, times font, and packages like geometry, booktabs, enumitem, tocloft, hyperref, fancyhdr, parskip, and noto from texlive-full/texlive-fonts-extra. Include a title page (“Fangbreaker TLP Server Guide,” author: AI name, date: May 30, 2025), table of contents, and bibliography. Use placeholders for zone maps, referencing https://www.eqprogression.com/maps/. Ensure error-free compilation with latexmk -pdf. Include these chapters:
- Fangbreaker Ruleset and Timeline:
- Rules: Expanded Start (Kunark, Velious, Luclin at launch, level 50 cap), Resource Hunter (daily zone bonuses), Encounter Locking (NPCs lock to first engager), Legacy Characters (10% XP bonus per max-level character), Restricted True Box (two clients, removed at Planes of Power), Agents of Change (instanced raids), Pick Zones (/pickzone).

I still randomly remember my first trip to an aviak fort group in '99. A cleric friend invited me out there. Something about the long trek out there, the weird unique bird men, the cool design of this fort out in the middle of a massive zone. One of those "this game is something special" moments.I'm actually enjoying it, the weird ass exp zones are nice. I was killing aviaks in SK for 8% a kill earlier so theres a nostalgic want to do old camps without having to sit there for 200 kills lol

We shall put Daybreak's "unlocks make people quit" theory to the test.
Holy balls, so I just dont know why anyone would start a character before september.
I think anyone who planed to level to 50 will be 50 well before the July 4th holiday.I think the first holiday exp bonus for Fangbreaker is the 4th of July weekend. The resource hunter exp bonuses can be big. Combine the two and it would be an alright time to do a bunch of your leveling while you wait for level 60 Luclin
i think 2 hours, maybe less
