If they refuse to ban cheaters why even have the rules? All the rules do is piss legit players off. The reason they intentionally post rules like 2 box max for Fangbreaker was to lure people in like myself (I admit dumb fucking decision on my part) thinking it will be different this time because they specifically stated it. Needless to say it's the same old shit. They have no problem suing an emulator for lack of players and profiting off their IP, but they're okay working with a 3rd party cheat program dev that's destroying their game that's not just pathetic it's scummy.

As to devs only have a small hour to work on it. I sent in 20 fucking video's to Daybreak mind you this is what they tell you to do because you're not allowed to talk about it on their forums or Discord and you know what was done. Not a fucking thing it's not that they have low amount of hours to work on it, it's a blattent fucking lack of giving a fuck. They simply don't give a fuck because they see a person that pays 15 bucks a month verses someone that's cheating that's paying 90 dollars a month + exp potions and they go "Man fuck that guy that only pays 15".

The list isn't enough because the new expansions are trash Warlords of Dreanor had more content than the new Everquest expansions I bet Yandere Simulator Dev does more work than the Everquest devs.

Yeah it is very far but it doesn't change how I feel. The game has become nothing but cheaters and the game has been legit ruined for legitimate players.

If someone cheats you remove what they earned because it was earned through unfair means, Everquest is ran by cheaters now remove the game and take everything they got.

Personally I don't see saying that as that bad. I'm not calling for doxxing, I'm not calling for physical harm, I'm not calling for these cheaters to be harassed for cheating. I'm just wanting them to lose everything via fair means such as Everquest dying.
Bro... maybe just play the actual game instead of spending your time doing a side quest of creating 20 videos of you being narcing pab? You sound incredibly unhinged. Is your anger based around the fact that you cant get groups due to everyone boxing? Because based on your psycho ass posts that is probably not the root cause.

Teeks krono market is basically toast.
so theres definitely a plat dupe on Fangbreaker. The server is luclin lv51 and krono just doubled in price in 1 day 80k to 160k. rip this dumpster fire
Every server in this decade had a dupe and failed economy. Always happens by Luclin, sometimes sooner. Seeing the trend yet? I've posted about it before. Just another LOADING sign on the road to Dinoland. Enjoy the ride.

Zaide's podcast nailed it in terms of this company banning every competent voice on their forums and burning all their remaining goodwill. I honestly don't know who the fuck is even playing Fanbreaker at this point, but my guess is Fanbreaker is all the autists and faggots that will support a company no matter what, the way they still support Disney Marvel, Disney Star Wars, and whatever shit is peddled for entertainment and news by the Liberal New World Order. Teek was the closest thing to a unicorn we will probably ever see from this company, and for all of that it still had the plat for missing krono dupe and the imbalanced Tower gear removing it from any semblance of a classic experience. As Zaide noted, Darkpaw is creatively out of juice. Secrets and THJ had the juice, but they are finished. They got Tupac'd and t-bagged by a Dorkpaw Crew with detachable penises. Death by corporation. Shitty way to go.

Meh its 26 years old at this point. Unpopular Theory, most dont seem to want all that much creativity. More some mild new things here and there, along with fixes(making things easier). As the majority seem to love doing classic to pop/GoD over and over again. And my guess would be because that is what most played originally before they moved to WoW.

I def would not choose EQ if I am looking for something new and innovative. Its a slowly dying, old ass, game, that most people play for nostalgia and to hang out with like minded people. Remember in the end , its all about entertainment. Is your $15 a month worth the fun/time you are having. Ignore all the idiots who turned their hobby into a job.

Basically accept it for what it is or ignore it. Trying to light a fire under the trenched in and lazy developers is a lost cause.

Their bad decisions for this server was staying in luclin for so long. They just straight ignored data that shows players start quitting more and more the longer they sit in one expansion. The roaming HoT zone thing was a good idea and hopefully continues.

Yes because Blizzard, Square Enix, ArenaNet, Riot Games, EA, Literally every other fucking game company works with cheaters to make it more feasible in their game.

Good lord you must have a permanent cuck chair in the daybreak office.

Fucking hell I'm not even going to call you retarded, that's insulting to actual retards, calling you stupid is an insult to people with below room temp IQ. I'm just gonna call you a cuck because if you actually enjoyed the game you wouldn't enjoy watching it get fucked.
you realise blizzard has just released a feature based on an addon that was actionable? not sure if your living in like a different dimension where you think your always right or just ignorant to the fact that cheating is widespread

We haven't done a psych breakdown since Sox. But I do think it is warranted, as this guy is about as retarded as Sox is/was.

Psychological Profile of Rolien

Core Traits

  • Still hooked on EverQuest despite quitting
He keeps saying he quit, but he lives in every EQ thread. He hates the game but can’t let it go. His whole identity is tied up in being part of this community, even if it’s only to trash it.
  • Frustrated but stuck
He complains nonstop but never walks away. He doesn’t actually resolve his frustration, he just loops it over and over.
  • Cynical by default
He sees every developer choice as lazy, greedy, or corrupt. Nothing is ever genuine, everything is done for the wrong reasons.

Motivations

  • Anger at cheating
Cheating/Boxing is his obsession. He talks about cheaters needing to “lose everything.” He backs off from saying real-world harm, but the intensity shows how much he wants control and fairness restored.
  • Needing recognition
He quit playing, yet he stays around to be the self-appointed truth teller. He wants people to see him as the veteran who knows better.
  • Craving enforcement
His biggest fixation is order. He wants rules followed and cheaters punished. His whole worldview is built around a need for structure based upon his self deluded anti boxing view.

Communication Style

  • Blunt and repetitive
His posts are full of sharp, dismissive lines. He uses harsh phrasing to project authority.
  • Contradictory
He claims to be above it all but shows up in every thread. He says he doesn’t care, then proves he cares more than anyone else.

Likely Psychology

  • Obsessive attachment disorder traits – he says he quit but can’t detach, showing compulsive need to stay connected.
  • OCD tendencies – fixation on rules, cheating, and enforcement points to rigid black-and-white thinking.
  • Paranoid personality traits – constant suspicion that devs are corrupt and players are cheating.
  • Narcissistic traits – he positions himself as the only one who “sees the truth” and thrives on being the loud critic.
  • Identity crisis – stuck between wanting to move on and needing validation from the same community he despises.
  • Chronic bitterness / resentment loop – repeats the same complaints endlessly instead of moving on, reinforcing negativity.

Your boxing problem didn’t appear overnight. It’s being enabled by tools and plugins circulating in the MQ2 community, and one person in particular, Secrets, is behind a huge part of it along with others.

He sold a clean hardware ID spoofer for MQ2 (“MQ2HWID”), not junk like Spiken’s, but a fully functional Truebox bypass. Armies of players used it for 5+ years without suspension, as long as they avoided other hacks. Daybreak’s TLP Truebox 1 client per PC login checks are limited to MAC addresses, and this plugin simply spoofs a hardware ID for each session. Detectable? Sure. Are they doing anything about it? Not at all.

Screenshot-2025-08-14-135027.png

I have receipts of Secrets personally pitching this bypass in DMs. Sharing them would risk outing my source, so no, you won’t see them here. Believe it or don’t, I don’t care.

Now here’s the part that should shock a few people:

  1. Secrets monetizes Project Quarm, giving select players items and advantages for money, and lowkey funnels more people to his project where he can profit directly by making moves that help make TLPs and other EMUs worse for players.

  2. Secrets directly reported THJ to Daybreak, triggering the lawsuit and threatening a beloved EMU server. THJ was getting too much of the pie for him to let it keep going. Secrets didn’t just manipulate classic EQ, he actively attacked another server to protect his own interests.

People like Secrets manipulate classic EQ for their own gain, all while pointing fingers at everyone else. If you want to blame someone for the “death by a thousand cuts” impacting TLP servers, focus on those actually profiting from your misery. Secrets is just one of many.

Fangbreaker’s failure was partially Daybreak’s fault for not enforcing their own rules, and they will bear the financial consequences, but there are other forces acting behind the scenes, pretending to be benevolent, who are the real root of the problems these servers face.

When leaders like Zaide and other big guild figures quit, they take entire communities with them. It’s not for lack of trying to fight the behind-the-scenes goof-fuckery either, the conversations some of the guild leaders have had with Daybreak might shock you. Daybreak is coming off borderline incompetent and they need a massive restructure of the team to fix this at this point. When big guilds and big communities start taking off, Daybreak should be paying far more attention than they are.

Believe what you want, but start recognizing some of the names who are truly behind all your misery.

boxing has very little to do with mq2 and very much to do with mini pcs and old laptopsthat run eq perfectly for 100-200 in whatever currency ur land uses.

every casual guild normally has a boxing questions discord channel and the first question a casual asks isnt "how do i spoof my mac address to bypass truebox" its does this cheap pc run eq?,

The second question is normally "how do i control my 2nd pc" and now u can buy solutions on amazon for 5-10 or use freeware of somesorts, even when they suspended at the start of teek for the hotkeynet mq2 plugin (that someone essentially reskinned and takes donationa for downloads) a majority of those people just jumped ship to the next freeware solution that had no affiliation to mq2

I hear you, and yes, cheap PCs and laptops make multi-boxing accessible, but that doesn’t change the impact of Secrets’ plugin and MQ2HWID on TLP servers. The difference is control and scale. Anyone can buy a $100 laptop and run a second client, but MQ2HWID actively bypasses Truebox limits, letting armies of accounts run on ONE machine without Daybreak noticing. That’s not just another freeware solution, it’s a deliberate tool that enables abuse beyond casual multi-boxing.

You’re right that casual guilds often have boxing channels and people look for simple solutions, but this is fundamentally different from a plugin being sold for profit and giving certain players/guilds in-game advantages at this scale and magnitude. That’s what really messed with TLPs and their economies.

most people i know that use a bypass dont buy it, free versions are widely used, i know quite a few people who use the bypass. They farm kr for rl money. I think if your in that mindset u probably dont care about the rules whatever the enforcement was because its so infrequent
