You actually might be retarded.

Posts a wall of text with not a single piece of evidence as to "not out your source". It's fucking 2025 EQ bro, you aren't whistleblowing at the NSA.

Just shut the fuck up or provide something to be taken seriously.

If you think the only way information is valid is if it comes with a doxx and burned sources, you’re either new here or a secrets dick rider. I’m not going to be the one handing over a name so your Discord friends can go on a witch hunt.

There are people in this thread who directly benefited from this plugin and I'm sure recognize it well. They can either confirm it or not.

Believe it or don’t, that’s fine, but don’t confuse “I won’t risk outing someone” with “I don’t have proof.” Those involved know what went down, and the rest of you can keep telling yourselves it’s all made up while the same patterns keep repeating.

Right, so you don't have proof. Information is only as good as its source — and only as useful as your ability to verify it.

Who the fuck asked for a doxx? Do you even know what that word means? Nobody needs a name of your man on the inside (lol). Show some messages confirming what you're claiming. Show evidence that he is producing and selling this bypass to people. Show anything besides a couple files on your computer that you renamed.

I'm not disputing that there are people out there bypassing truebox, no shit there are. I'm disputing that Secrets is some sort of mastermind behind it all.

The HWID part is partially true.

In late 2023-ish, edit: it was late 2021, early 2022 when I first learned of it, several groups reached out to me after their HWID bypass was detected. They had me update a plugin (MQ2HWID) from one of the MacroQuest devs, and told them to not share it with the other group. These were splinter groups in two of the biggest guilds at the time that were using it up until this point.

I did what any fine, upstanding mischief maker would do and updated it for both, and told the other group that I didn't update it for them, so they would piss in each other's cheerios.

FF a few months, 64-bit came out, and they had me update it with the 64-bit build of MQ. I had originally thought that eqmule was behind the plugin's creation (he was acting out of malice at the time) but it turned out it wasn't him.

Months later, I also reached out to the original developer at MacroQuest's community who created the plugin after deducing who left it would be. He said that he refused to update it, and so it was no surprise that they went to other people to have it updated again.

Basically, we conferred and found out that these two groups had two different intents: one was jealous the other had it, and the other was unable to update it on their own.

In terms of whether or not it works now? I don't know. After I found out that the developer didn't want it updated, I stopped updating it, and gave both groups the source code, instructions for updating it, and said 'figure it out, it is no longer my problem'.

After a month or two after that, I reached out to Darkpaw Games and reported the plugin to them and its source code so they could reliably catch everyone and remove them in one fell swoop. Haven't touched it for ~3 years since. It's not my problem anymore.

Unfortunately, I don't think anything was ever done about it. Or cheaters are very good at lying to each other about when they got caught, which is understandably more likely. And now we're here.

The monetization bit is completely false - there was never anything taken in on Project Quarm for anything in return ingame, and that continues to be the case to this day.
This reads of conspiracy tier, and given that screenshots are easily faked, I would take anything said in public with a grain of salt.

You'll see people screeching about the gofundme I made for myself to survive, or how I made a Patreon, or how I stream on Twitch and people can tip there, but no one got anything in return for that ingame or otherwise resulting in a reward on Project Quarm for a donation. That's called a payment if it results in a reward and is a distinct, clear difference.

By the way, it was Tyen (Salty) who reported THJ to them.

He shared this in a Discord. Upon that being shared, I checked the original server it was shared in (THJ's) and it was obvious it was Tyen who posted it there.

The date he sent the email matches up with the court evidence. Of course, he could have faked it for attention, but given that he has literally done this before to Project 1999 back in 2014, I am instead inclined to believe that he's telling the truth, because his forum spam on Daybreak's forums later led to the P99 agreement to begin with according to Rogean.

Your boxing problem didn’t appear overnight. It’s being enabled by tools and plugins circulating in the MQ2 community, and one person in particular, Secrets, is behind a huge part of it along with others.

He sold a clean hardware ID spoofer for MQ2 (“MQ2HWID”), not junk like Spiken’s, but a fully functional Truebox bypass. Armies of players used it for 5+ years without suspension, as long as they avoided other hacks. Daybreak’s TLP Truebox 1 client per PC login checks are limited to MAC addresses, and this plugin simply spoofs a hardware ID for each session. Detectable? Sure. Are they doing anything about it? Not at all.

I have receipts of Secrets personally pitching this bypass in DMs. Sharing them would risk outing my source, so no, you won’t see them here. Believe it or don’t, I don’t care.

Now here’s the part that should shock a few people:

  1. Secrets monetizes Project Quarm, giving select players items and advantages for money, and lowkey funnels more people to his project where he can profit directly by making moves that help make TLPs and other EMUs worse for players.

  2. Secrets directly reported THJ to Daybreak, triggering the lawsuit and threatening a beloved EMU server. THJ was getting too much of the pie for him to let it keep going. Secrets didn’t just manipulate classic EQ, he actively attacked another server to protect his own interests.

People like Secrets manipulate classic EQ for their own gain, all while pointing fingers at everyone else. If you want to blame someone for the “death by a thousand cuts” impacting TLP servers, focus on those actually profiting from your misery. Secrets is just one of many.

Fangbreaker’s failure was partially Daybreak’s fault for not enforcing their own rules, and they will bear the financial consequences, but there are other forces acting behind the scenes, pretending to be benevolent, who are the real root of the problems these servers face.

When leaders like Zaide and other big guild figures quit, they take entire communities with them. It’s not for lack of trying to fight the behind-the-scenes goof-fuckery either, the conversations some of the guild leaders have had with Daybreak might shock you. Daybreak is coming off borderline incompetent and they need a massive restructure of the team to fix this at this point. When big guilds and big communities start taking off, Daybreak should be paying far more attention than they are.

Believe what you want, but start recognizing some of the names who are truly behind all your misery.
So..... typical unhinged tranny shit?

You can tell a lot about Secrets, from only his account of things, by the fact he made this bypass, h8ave it two competing groups to create tension, then ratted it out to DPG when he was bored.

Good lord, the amount of people that defend cheating is fucking sad.

Not only do some of you fucks defend it you go out to type book reports on your opinion on someone who disagrees with cheating in Everquest, and you think I have mental issues. Fucking hell I admit I'm retarded for falling for Daybreak's shit now and again, but some of you fuckers out here writing book reports like it's a college class attempting to insult me because I disagree with cheating? Fucking hell lol.

I'm not even insulted I find it humorous that some of you get so butt hurt when people call out cheating that you feel like you need to attack, shit I thought the EQ forums were bad some of you fuckers make Warring Asswipe on the forums look normal.

This is way too much. People always took this game way, way, way to seriously I was actually in shock how fucking much of a deal this game is to a lot of people, and I think its just sad. The fact that people farm krono for real life cash is just fucking pathetic. All this drama whether true or not is just fucking pathetic. I cringe reading this shit. Especially when dudes like rolan are all wound up over fucking EVERQUEST. Bro, just put it down and don't look back. You all will be ok.

people are making 50k + a year from kr farming on teek and all you have to do is be in a kr farming guild, at this point im not sure whats worse the people who buy kr or the people that sell it
