I just cant imagine being stuck in Luclin for what 9 months? You wont see PoP until Feb, then you get 4 months of pop again(which I will tell you right now drained and burned out a lot of people on teek).
Honestly best thing about this server and a reason they probably still launch one every year no matter how crappy , is I get to buy new bags for my guys on teek!

In fact, I need to get on my enchanter persona tonight and see if I can bang out another level. He is right at 64. I want to hit 65 and grab some AAs before Thursday lol.

I fully expect to buy the new bags, but I won't be claiming any of them on the Fangbreaker server. They will go strait to my Teek character.
Even though I will role a character on the new Fangbreaker server, it will 100% be a temporary thing just to try to get a few Krono.
I can't imagine anyone wanting to replace Teek or Mischief with Fangbreaker. It's just not good enough to topple recent TLPs.

You're looking at it the wrong way.
This schedule is obviously constructed to get as many people as possible to play on the actual good server they're launching next year. After going through all the work of tracking down daily bonuses, leveling alts for the Legacy exp bonus, doing extra raids and struggle bussing for four months through everyone's epic fights while bind rushing Kael constantly most of the server is going to tap out until next year for a new launch that they'll be raring to go for.
I feel bad for the one guild that makes it to Gates of Discord launch to have Mischief 3 All Races All Classes unlock the same day on May 28th.

I don't understand the point of reversing that change.
edit: nvm. Didn't know there was some new resist system being tinkered with. Found this dev post explaining it. Sort of. I am still a bit confused.

I am not sure I would trust DPG developers to make a whole new resist system. They seem to barely be able to do stuff people were doing 20 years ago. Granted not sure how much of that is trying to get new stuff to mesh with the most likely ancient original coding they have and if they have anyone, that is even remotely familiar or worked on the original code, left.

Maybe it's time for them to just say they are not putting out a new TLP server this year, but here are the new bags you can buy for your existing TLP servers instead.
It's pretty clear that they have no interest in this new TLP server lasting very long before they can transfer the handful of people on it off to another server and shut it down.
They just want their yearly TLP bag sales, and hey... I admit it. I'll be buying the bags... for my TEEK character.
At this point, the only benefit I see with the new server is maybe it will take some of the PL spam away from TEEK for a few weeks until they realize that nobody is playing there to pay them.
