I love this perspective especially when you posted 3 months ago that you logged in for the first time since 2006 lol, as if you’re just bringing the one man party and it’s now popping offActually it's quite popping, more than in a loooong time.
Not sure how many people have done it but ChatGPT (and I assume others) makes MQ2 macro's and scripting very easy...
Or you could play the game.. I still outpace all mq2 users on live in progression and dps. Still relying on this in 2026 is sad. Just use isboxer, scripts are dead. If you are still kiddie scripting eq in 2026 it's mirror check time. Not sure how many people have done it but ChatGPT (and I assume others) makes MQ2 macro's and scripting very easy...
I've never used MacroQuest but I'm curious how you quantify this.I still outpace all mq2 users on live in progression and dps.

I can't for the life of me understand how Darkpaw Games hasn't been completely shut down by those in charge yet. It's literally the definition of a company that is setup purely to milk an IP until it dies and then disband the company.
The people working on Everquest Legends have done more actual development in one year than Darkpaw Games has done on Everquest in the past decade. It's almost as if those in charge of DPG know it's a shell company and don't actually have any intentions of ever running it as a real game development company.
DBG bought DPG/SOE knowing it was on the decline. Their business model is to specifically milk an IP of all its worth until the cash cow dies. Nothing more, nothing less. THJ and now EQL are an unexpected aberration and possible $$$ growth for them. If EQL makes money, it could open the door to DPG releasing the current client and server to the eqemu crowd to tinker with for small personal stuff, with the specific limits like p99 and Quarm are under. And if one gets popular and big enough and wants to make money they can roll it out under the DPG system like EQL.I can't for the life of me understand how Darkpaw Games hasn't been completely shut down by those in charge yet.
