Someone told me recently they've been suspended multiple times and only use ISBoxer. There's nothing I can do to argue against their experience but I still doubt it. If they ever start hitting people for ISBoxer I have to assume I'll be first in line.

I don’t really see why that would ban people for isboxer, unless the goal is to eliminate boxing. There’s nothing automated about it. I can see someone getting suspended for being a blatant asshole to anyone around them while using isboxer. I can remember people getting suspended for harassment etc on the last tlp I played, and even that was hard to accomplish. There’s probably more to the story

they dont do suspension waves for isboxer, never have, never will.

You can get suspended if your being an asshole though

Half my guild have used isboxer since mischief

Doesn't ISboxer give you options to broadcast keystrokes to your boxes, that seems to be something they suspend for, I guess it depends how you use it. I don't use MQ or anything like that because I don't do much boxing and if I do I don't broadcast keystrokes.

I basically refuse to play without SEQ running on a second display and have been using it for many years.

I've had one 7 day suspension and that was for telling someone they talked like a fag and their shit was all retarded.

I'm sure theres some anecdotal false positives and mistakes but I've reached the point where if someone gets banned I just assume they're dirty and really don't make any effort to believe the excuses, partly because I don't really care all that much anymore that they're dirty (unless they're a cunt about it and complained about other people's hacking being worse or whatever). The EQ dindu nuffin into yes actually you were cheating trend is so bad I've actually become pretty skeptical in general to the point where I instinctively disbelieve anyone complaining false arrest or whatever. Like yeah I know mistakes get made and cops suck (and especially pre modern tech) but I dont believe people at the start anymore.

Started playing right before kunark, been an absolute menace many times, been associated with friends/guilds of serious cheaters who ate many suspensions and some even permas... never got nuked. Not once. Know some bros in similar positions over numerous tlps and they dont cheat, never hit. Im a shit towards the devs alot but I really dont think theyre nuking innocent people all that much, if at all anymore.

Stop breaking the law, assholes.

I think it really comes down to not harassing people or being so much of an asshole you get reported. I personally don’t like MQ or SEQ, but I’m not really going to begrudge anyone using it. I’ve been using isoboxer for almost 15 years, and if people ask about it in game, I’ll tell them about it.

But, then again, I’m not a dick. And if I run along people randomly, I’ll ask them to join me.

I don't trust randos on the Internet whining about bans, but i also don't trust the anticheat capabilities of a company that pays their core developers a salary that's the bottom 3% of the area.

My guess is they really dont want to ban unless they have to, so they're only going to ban people that are either obvious softball catches, or people reported for shitass behavior that also ticked an anticheat. So many obvious cheaters dont get punished.

Yeah I ran into something like that, I tried busting into a dudes camp he was somehow able to pull/kill just the PH and named in all of disco 1 and 2. I told him just let me take 1 named spot and leave the rest to him. He told me to kick rocks and whatever he was using was way faster and better the whatever I use. So I eventually had to leave, but i definitely didnt cry about it.

Hit 75 as enchanter on Lethar.
Im enjoying the server.


Pros:
- Personal loot is great, encourages groups and reduces individual competition on specific areas/camps.
- All/All is better than I gave it credit for. It opens the game up and gives you more options.
- Very little Krono if any at all. There are still items on the bazaar for sale that are all/all and no req level so easy to twink - but at these early stages esp it is supplemental since its easy to group up and earn it.
- Community is good
- I have not seen many bot armies or krono farmers.

Cons:
- Population is low. To be expected given its timing and zero advertising. It hasnt hurt my leveling and the guild is healthy.
- Lot of item management due to all the drops. Bag space is tighter than normal. Deleting old attuned and no-drop gear is constant while leveling.
- No Defiant even though we are in TSS. It has been slower leveling and gearing than most people would like.

Overall this will be my home for a while. I dont box so having a guild full of people who like to group is refreshing. I also hate Krono because thats all the focus becomes instead of adventuring for upgrades.

Raids will be interesting. Our guild wont be doing DKP for the first time ever. Everything is just mains need alts greed. Simple as that. Personal loot and all/all changes everything.
