I'm just about to as well, but then I read I need really high faction with Priests of Life, which I definitely don't have.

If you've been saving all your bone chips, go give them to Lashun Novashine in North Qeynos.
I definitely had all these factions maxed 20+ years ago before attempting Soulfire, so not sure what's different now other than I probably just didn't spend as long grinding random camps that just happened to raise them over time.

If you have SK/Pal you should probably look at doing this:
The proc can kind of fuck you because it puts a "debuff" on you that keeps in you combat after the mobs die and it can prevent stuff like mezzes when it dots mobs, but it's a very solid weapon and you can just remove the proc. A lot of the faction stuff is pretty tedious, but most of my guildmates that did the quest said it took them 10-12 hours of work to do total. There's also tips on the discord about stuff like getting the "correct" grimrot and turning in items for faction.

You can also give him 2 gold at a time to raise the faction as well. I did that last night. It's a ton faster than grinding mobs obviously.
