progressing through ele plains with pet cuck. i enjoyed it and was bummed when it went offline, but i don't really care about a thj clone. would rather keep seeing new stuff while retaining the interesting/fun concepts of THJ like multi-class and solo/small group balancing. i was starting to get bored through pop progression. would rather be stuck in velious farming giants and dragons.

I think it'll be worth checking out as long is the price point is fair. Ballpark $20 up front and 10-12 month I'd do, but if its like 40 and 15 and a tranny as lead dev, probably gonna pass until I see good reviews.

I don't see how Daybreak can sue anyone for making 1:1 emulators considering the terms Quarm was required to work under after the recent lawsuit with the other emulator. Part of the agreement for Quarm was no custom content and (I think) had to stop at PoP.
To me that reads as you're allowed to emulate our servers just don't make a new game out of it. It'd be hilarious if an emulated Legends server killed Secrets own official server.

The thing with Quarm is all the custom content that it had or planned is suddenly going to be on EQ Legends.

It's fucking Everquest. I get why they're doing this just from being in the discord. You have people that are willing to spend tons on it and they're asking to spend more before the shit is out.
I don't get what it is with Everquest players they're like the opposite of every MMO player. Instead of saying why are you shitting on my plate they're asking to suck the shit out of someone's ass.

The FAQ in discord still says True Box is enforced, unless I missed something?. You can have multiple PC's running it from your household (family, etc) if you want to do actual boxing, but not like 3 EQL windows on your pc.
