Sperges like to think they "really know whats going on", they dont , and they also hate secrets because hes a gayfag, and they dont get that you can just hate him for that if you want , without inventing a grand conspiracy

Be careful the sheep are going to come bleating in here all upset. Like a karen they supposedly hate, if you dont fall in line.

I could care less about the people, whos running it, who did what, who stole what. Is the game fun or not, all that should matter in a video game. But wont know that till its out. So conspiracy theories and the usual for this board is all there is left.

That post doesn't bode well for EQL, since Secrets seems to completely miss what was good about THJ and is seemingly blind to it due to their autistic 'systems' brain trying to analyze human behavior while not being a normal human. Even funnier knowing that the LLC was already formed by the time of that post.

Daybreak’s whole argument against laches applying to the case was that they didn’t know about THJ until a monthish before they filed and then only via a fellow studio head mentioning it.

Nevermind it being forum and discord autodeleted for months before that 😏

So they formed an idea and made the server which took off like a broken plane. THJ made the plane actually fly, until it was shot down by DBG.

Point is, it doesn't fucking matter if you have an idea if you can't make the fucking thing work.

EQL is latching onto the HOPE that people are so hungry for THJ that they'll play EQL. Fact of the matter is though from the Multi class system on EQL it looks like a fucking mess. It's like they looked at THJ's system and were like "This is great and all but how can we make it worse".

Again, anyone hoping this is a better THJ is going to be sad to find out that it feels nothing like THJ when they login.

They have made a completely different shit thing with EQL. They publicly disagree with the design choices THJ made on these forums. It is going to feel really bad to be a THJ fan once you play it.

Probably yeah.

But Beta is at the end of this month but it's NDA so obviously no one will come on here and say how bad it is if they get into beta because that would be against the NDA.

I think the best analogy would be when tv/movie showrunners take a beloved book IP, and decide to change a bunch of shit for no good reason. The product is worse for it.

This server will always be judged against THJ. If it's worse then THJ that's on them. They could have copied it.

I highly doubt the Legends devs > THJ devs considering they never produced something of that quality.

Time will tell. I only care if the game is fun. History and DBG in the picture doesn't give a lot of confidence, but never know. Given history of gaming for a while now, I rarely buy blind, either waiting to try myself for free first, or trusted reviews/streams(aka not paid sponsors or hype people). This is already off to a bad start for me because its an entirely different sub separate from their all access, so mostly likely wont bother, unless it turns out to be some super amazing thing, that putting a couple weeks into is worth it.

I have zero care about the personal lives of the developers involved.

Turtle WoW is objectively better than regular wow though so I don't know if the analogy holds.

We will see on this one, I am impressed they have so quickly gotten so many things we have waited for since 1999 in, like robes on all races and shit like that. I feel like if you go into it wanting it to be THJ you will be disappointed because they aren't even trying to do that.

Question (couldn't follow all the information): part of what made THJ financially successful was the fact that almost everything was tradable from quest item to raid loot. There was a flowing economy around high end items and people bought the premium currency to trade for pp to buy that stuff.

Did they mention anything how items and gear will be handled?

They will probably sell you "unlock" tokens for real life cash to change an item from NO DROP to tradeable.
